- Cameron's POV -
I just defended Peyton. To Paty.
I mean, I would choose Pey over Pat anyday. Pat, the nickname I gave Paty when she was mine, well, for those 7 days. Pey, I didn't give her that nickname. Day gave it to her, but it sounded so good when it came out of my mouth. Pat and Pey were two girls that were the same in many ways, sometimes I wonder how they aren't sisters.
"Cam?" Day interrupted my thoughts.
"Huh?" I looked at her.
"Sweetie, are you alright?" My mom asked me.
"Yeah?" I said in a question like voice.
"Anyways," James starts. "You can't date Cedrick, Paty. And that's final."
"I don't see why not." Fran said. She always stands up for Paty.
"He's 3 years older!" James freaked.
"You're four years older than me so what's your point?" Fran answered.
"Wait, I'm only 23." Cedrick raised an eyebrow. "I'm only a year older than Paty."
"Fuck," I heard Day mutter.
"You're 23?" Jay asked.
"Yeah? And?" Cedrick looked confused.
"Hun," Peyton started. "Paty's 16."
"What?!" Cedrick exploded. He turned to Paty, "You told me you were 22!"
"Little white lie?" Paty said, looking away. "The thing is I love you, Ced.
"Don't call me that!" Cedrick said, "We're done."
And he walked out as expected, this usually happened to Paty.
"I can't believe you just did that!" Paty yelled at her dad and stormed out of the house.
"Well," James took a deep breath, "Let's get this barbecue started."

"No telling what I might do when I'm in the right mood," Peyton sang tossing the beach ball to Day."You know me, I'm all up in the party like a V.I.P," Day hit the ball to Jay.
"And everything is looking better from my P.O.V," Jay set the ball to me.
"Wild Life by Jack and Jack." I said, catching the ball.
"And he's right again," Jay rolled his eyes. We were playing Pass It and Sing. It's this game where you pass the ball and each person sings one line of the song. When it gets to the last person, they have to name the song. If they don't know the line then they have to tell a truth. If they get the name wrong then they have to do a dare. So kinda like truth or dare.
"Okay, I start now." I said, getting ready to throw the ball and sing.
"Wait! I wanna play!" Sierra came outside and stripped down to her panties and bra.
"Uhm," Day coughed. "Wanna borrow a bathing suit?"
"Nah, y'all have seen me before anyways." Sierra shook her head and dove into the pool. "Okay, now go."
"Baby, you a song, you make me wanna roll my windows down and cruise." I hit the ball to Sierra.
"When I first saw that bikini top on her," Sierra passed it to Peyton.
"She's poppin' right out of that South Georgia water," Peyton hit it to Day.
"Man.... I don't know the next line," Day let the ball drop.
"Who wants to ask the question?" Jay asked.
"Me," I said. "Are you a virgin?"
"What the heck?" Day laughed. "Yes, I'm a virgin."
"I'll start the next song." Jay said, "I've thought that I've been hurt before."
"But no one's ever left me quite this sore." I sang and I passed it to Sierra.
"Stitches by Shawn Mendes." She answered easily.
"Dang, must run in the family!" Jay said and Sierra splashed him.
"So what if I just wanna be a little bit out of my mind," Sierra sang and passed the ball to Peyton. Day and Peyton squealed.
"I let you take my heart and I like it," Peyton smiled.
"So what if I happen to be a little bit out of my mind," Day set the ball to Jay.
"I better steal your heart and you'll like it." Jay sang as he hit the ball to me.
I let the ball fall. "I don't know what the fuck this song is. Is it some Johnny Beaver crap?"
"Did you... Just say... Johnny Beaver?!" Sierra bursted out laughing.
"Yeah? Isn't he the guy who dated Sally Gonets?" I asked.
"You mean Selena Gomez?" Day laughed.
"And Justin Bieber?" Peyton giggled.
"Probably." I nodded.
"The song is called Best Thing I Got by Sabrina Carpenter." Jay rolled his eyes. "Even I know it."
"But you're Jay," Day rolled her eyes.
"Just Jay?" Jay pretended to be hurt.
"Just Jay." Day said, smiling.
"Cam, pass me my phone," Peyton said.
I passed it to her. "Listen to this," She played the song.
"So what if I just wanna be a li-" The girl sang. I covered my ears.
"Okay, okay! I get your point." I said, slightly annoyed.
I realized that Day had gotten out of the pool, and Jay wasn't in the pool either.
- Day's POV -
I got out of the pool because it was getting chilly and I didn't want to catch a cold.
I went upstairs to get changed.
"Day?" Jay said, coming into my room.
"Oh gosh. I thought you were in the pool." I said.
"Well, I'm not." He smirked and kissed me, right on the lips.
I pulled away, shocked. "What was that?"
"What was what?" Jay played dumb.
"You kissed me," I said, biting my lip.
"And?" Jay kissed me again, this time with more gentleness.
"Jay, stop." I said, forcefully. "Let me get out of this wet bathing suit."
"You're no fun," He pouted.
"You're lots of fun," I ruffled his hair, leaving him as I went to change into a giant tshirt and yoga pants.
We went downstairs and ate hamburgers outside by the fire. I never looked Cam in the eye because I would get enough of his eyes tonight.
"Wanna spend the night?" Peyton asked me as Gina, Sierra, and Jay were getting ready to leave.
"I can't tonight," I said.
"Why not?" Peyton looked at me funny.
"Um, I was about to ask Cam if he wanted to spend the night. I'm 15 and I still have my virginity, nobody else at school still has it. Maybe I should lose it, so I'm going to give it to someone I trust." I shoved my hands into the pockets of my yoga pants. Yes, my yoga pants came with pockets.
"Alright," Peyton sighed. "But Day, don't fall in love."
