"Day, wait!" I chased after her as she stormed out of the house.
Day turned around. "Leave me alone." And she ran to her house.
"Cameron?" Paty came out of their house and approached me.
"What?" I barked.
"Chill, I just needed to talk to you."
"What now?"
"Where is my child?"
I could feel the blood draining from my face as Paty said those four words.
