So Cameron moved to California and never returned to Montana. He left his friends and children behind, but evern though it was hard on everyone, he knew that starting over was what would help him in the long run. His love for Peyton only grew stronger as he thought about her everyday and night. He also remembered his kids and their moms. He missed them all and he knew he would never forget them. However, he met new people and created a new family. His "brothers" were Nash and Hayes Grier, he lived with both of them. Cameron stopped his foolish player ways and dated a couple of girls. He never did find another bestfriend like Day, nor did he find a girl like Peyton.

Jay stayed in Montana all his life. He graduated and when to a community college with his girlfriend, Peyton. He never forgot Cameron. After all, they were bestfriends. Jay did what Cam asked, by protecting and standing by Peyton at all time and all costs. Jay tried to contact Cameron while he left. He called him, texted him, and emailed him. No answer. Cam never answered and this was when Jay realized that Cam wanted a completely new life and would do whatever it would take. Jay was fine with that, and it made him esteem Cam. He was glad that Peyton was fine with it too, maybe they were meant to be together. Either way, he was glad he met Cam.

She remembered her teenage years, for they were the best and worst ones of her life. Paty Caslaw was glad that Maddie was hers and only hers. She never wanted to share the girl with anyone else. Although, Maddison Beer did come around once or twice, Paty always protected herself and her daughter. They ended up moving to the Big Apple when Maddie turned 10. They had a good life, and Paty had built a steady relationship with Cedrick. They got married. But Maddie died in a car crash, where Paty was also involved. Paty wasn't hurt, and she wished that it had been her who died. What saddened Paty most was that Cameron never learned of his daughter's death.

Peyton grauduated and went to college with Jay. She never knew whether or nt she had been in love with Cameron. She tried to remember him, but once he left. She started to forget what he looked like and his personality. She stood by Day and they took on the world together. Going through a school full of judging people didn't phase either of them. What Peyton did remember was the night when Jay told her that he would always protect her and not only because Cameron asked him to, but because he believed that together they would be stronger.

Ryan fell in love with Day Caslaw. Maybe it was the fact that she changed after Baby Ryan was born. Maybe it was the fact that she named her child after him. Whatever it was, he loved her, all of her. He spent more time with her and asked her to marry him when the both turned 20 and when Ryan was 4. They were married and they had 2 other children, named Cameron and Halle. He protected her, like Cam asked. He knew that he could and would and should never leave her. They both changed for the better. Ryan never forgot the day Cameron Dallas gave him Ryan's umbilical cord.

And Day? Well, most people at their highschool never forgot who Day Caslaw was. The brave soul who set fire to a class room. The dare devil who jumped of the second story of the building believing that her boyfriend, Ryan would catch her. But what made her a brave soul and a dare devil? Why, Cameron Dallas did, of course. Once he left, Day tried her hardest to forget him and the impact he had on her life, but she couldn't. She watched her child grow up. And boy, oh boy, Ryan Jayseph Dallas grew up looking like a replica of Cameron Dallas. This made it harder for Day, and eventually she gave up trying to forget and started to remember.

The best choice I made in life was learning to let go. I let Day go, I let Paty go, I let Peyton go. It was for the best.
And I'm glad to say that I was never Day's boyfriend. I will never forget her. I never forgot that I was Always the Bestfriend, Never the Boyfriend.
