- Day's POV -

"Malley, leave me alone." I said, picking up my books and walking out of chemistry class.

"Aw, c'mon Darkness. I just wanna talk." Ryan answered.

I turned to face him, "I think I've made it clear that the last person I want to see, let alone talk to, is you."

"Darkne-"

"Stop! I said leave me alone. I don't understand why you can't do that!"

We were now in the middle of the hallway.

''But Darkness," Ryan started.

"Leave her alone."

"Jay?"

"Aww, shut up Moss. All I wanna do is talk to my girl, Darkness, here.'' Ryan gestured to me.

"I'm nobody's," I said through gritted teeth, "girl."

"She doesn't want to talk to you, so leave her alone.''

"Don't make me, make you, stop interfering."

"Ryan, get your ass away from me! I don't want to speak to you."

"I just want to know what I did! What did I do? Why do I deserve you acting towards me like this?"

I stormed out of the school. I was done. How could he not know what he did? He broke my heart, that's what he did. How could he not remember what he did? That is my question.

"I love you, Mir." Ryan cooed at Miranda during lunch.

"Aw, but munchkin.. I love you more!'' Miranda answered.

I was sick to my stomach watching my crush endlessly flirt on with my enemy. Didn't he know that he was supposed to stay away from girls like that? Wasn't he street smart enough to have some school smarts?

Ryan Malley. Brother to Ross Malley, a guy who was broken by my sister, then turned into a bad boy and started screwing girls everywhere. But, why? Well, Paty Caslaw, that's why.

Then started the Dark Angels. The smaller of the two cliques at our school. Being a Malley makes Ryan destined to be with a Caslaw at one point in his life. And that Caslaw, should be me.

"Baby boo, I'm gonna miss you!" Ryan said as Miranda breifly told him that she could not see him that night, cancelling their date.

Miranda Hemm. Sister to Annabelle Hemm, who dated Cameron, it was the classic cheerleader-football player-relationship, so everyone loved them.

They started the Strong Good, the biggest clique at our school included all athletes. Being a Hemm, Miranda is destined to be with a Dallas, and there's only one male Dallas.

"Ry, it's only one night, but I'll give you the best night of your life tomorrow." Miranda kissed his cheek.

Ryan looked at me and smirked. "What do you think, Caslaw? Should I give my Mirry Mir Mir a second chance?"

I stood up and blew and bubble in his face, "Do what you want, see if destiny cares."

"I take that as a yes," Ryan smiled at Miranda. "Oh, my little shrimpy poo, tomorrow night will be fun!"

"I can't wait, cupcake!" Miranda smiled at Ryan, then glared at me.

And the gag-inducing flirting continued.

"Are you okay?" Jay caught up to me.

"I'm absolutely, positivly fine." I rolled my eyes. "Why couldn't he just leave me alone?"

"Boys are stupid." Jay smiled, "It's our nature.''

I turned to face him, ''Yeah, I guess you're right."

Jay took my hand in his. It wasn't much, but I enjoyed the small gesture. He blushed, when I gave his hand a sqeeze. Our hands fit perfectly into the other one's hand, like it was meant to be. But... his hand fit mine like someone else's. Like, the way Ryan's hand fit mine. I quickly let go, and started to run.

a/n so i guess yall saw a little #DJ here! hope you enjoyed the chapter ;)
