- Cameron's POV -
I accepted Bart's offer. Peyton was right, nobody should hold me back, not even her.
I had three days until I left for Cali and I knew how I was going to spend those days.
"Hey Jay," I said as he answered the phone. "Come over, let's hang."
"Aight." And he hung up.
We spent the day playing video games and talking. And doing dares and throwing eggs and swimming and doing every challenge we could think of.
"Jay, can I ask you something?" I turned to him, after shaking my wet hair.
"Shoot, bro." He said.
"Will you protect Peyton for me? Like, when I leave? Will you stand by her? Will you remind her that she isn't what people say she is? Will you do that for me?"
"Yeah bro." Jay sighed, "I will."

I've started packing and today, I'm going to The Alley. This is the first time I've mentioned this, but The Alley is a place where I'm not welcomed. Yeah sure, Day and Peyton used to hang there during the weekends but that stopped after Day found out she was having Ryan.
I drove over to a Seven Eleven that was next door to a warehouse. The Alley was the small alley that was in between these two buildings.
Oh and by the way, The Alley was the base for all members of the Dark Angels. Day and Ryan were the leaders. You can imagine why I was not welcome.
I parked my car and took my time walking to the alley. I entered the dark alley and quickly found who I was looking for.
"Aye Ryan!" I yelled.
He looked up from his cigarette and dropped it on the ground, crushing the cigarette butt with his shoe. He raised an eyebrow at me, "Hell with it, Cameron. It's really you, wow. Haven't seen the family man in forever."
I gritted my teeth, "Can we talk?"
"You talk, I guess I gotta listen."
I approached him, "It's about Day.... And the baby."
Ryan's eyes widened at this. "How's Darkness? Oh, and how's the little fucker?"
"Don't call him that!" I shouted, angry at this fucker in front of me, I can't believe I was doing this. "You can't call him that if you're gonna be his fucking dad!"
"Wh-What?!" Ryan gulped, turning pale.
"You heard right." I sighed, "You're gonna get what you want."
"What the hell do you mean?"
"Ryan, I'm levaing Montana for good the day after tomorrow. I won't ever return. I'm starting my life over again. That means I'm leaving Day and Paty. Paty can tale care of herself and Maddie, but Day can barely support herself, let alone support a baby. I want you to be with her, care for them, protect them, and love them. Basically, I'm leaving Ryan in your custody. He's yours, and so is Day. Just like it should've been from the beginning."
He wouldn't look me in the eye, "Okay."
"Thank you," I said, sticking my hand out. He took my hand, shaking it and I gave him a small brown box.
"What's this?" He said, looking at the box.
"It's Ryan's umbilical cord." I sighed, "Day said to give it to the man I trusted her to if I ever left her."
"I can't believe you're doing this."
"Me neither, man. Me neither."
_____________________________________________________________"I'm spending this last day with you. And no one else." I said to her, "Only you."
"I still can't believe you're leaving." She said.
I lifted her chin, "I can't either, but it's for the best and we both know that."
"Yeah, but wouldn't you rather spend your last day with someone with more worth to you than me?" She frowned at me.
"You're my bestfriend, there's no one else I'd rather be with."
Day chuckled, and raised an eyebrow at me. "Not even Pey?"
I ruffled her hair, "Not even Pey."
"So what's up with you two anyways?" Day said, wiggling her eyesbrows. "Did you get her pregnant yet?"
I winced, and Day's eyes opened in realization, "No, she knows how to keep her legs crossed."
I narrowed my eyes at Day and saw that her eyes were filling up with tears, as she tried desperately to blink them back I softened. "I'm sorry, Day. I didn't mean that, you know I didn't."
"I didn't mean what I said either, Cam. I'm sorry."
I pulled her petite body in against mine for a hug. And there we sat. Holding each other and not really wanting to let go, but we did. "You're so mature now, you know that?''
"Yeah, it's a curse." Day smiled.
"Want some bubble gum?" I smirked at her.
"Only if you wanna be the one to tame me later.'' She laughed.
"Well, let's watch a movie then."
"That's boring."
"Nuh uh," I pouted, "I love movies."
"But I don't wanna be bored, let's do something."
"We are not robbing a gas station if that's what you have in mind."
"Fine, then you can at least buy me some chewing sprees."
"Alright, let's go." I stood up, with Day following me, "Hold up, where's Dallas?"
"Gina said she'd take care of him for the day."
When we got to the car, Day wouldn't get in. "What's wrong?"
"It smells bad in here," She wrinkled her nose.
"Oh, don't act like you don't love Jerry."
"Jerry? I thought his name was B.S."
"I changed it yesterday when I was watching Tom and Jerry with Dallas," I shrugged.
"Cameron! He's a baby, I never allowed him to watch TV yet. It'll ruin his eyesight," Day scolded me.
"Aw, look at you being all protective." I pinched her cheek. "Just get in the damn car."
"Fine, fine." She rolled her eyes and got in.
"I'm gonna miss this," I mumbled.
"What's that?"
"I'm gonna miss this."
"What about it?" Day shrugged.
"You, Day. I'm gonna miss you."
