Era's POV
I was taken to the third floor and we both stopped right in front of the storeroom.
I thought that probably he was some kind of criminal who ran out of jail and has decided to stay in the small storeroom for the rest of his life.
He chuckled hard.
"Your face says you are scared. Trust me, I am neither a ghost nor an immoral." he opened a storeroom and I saw a blast of blue lights as soon as the door opened. The faint music I had been hearing for the last days played. But this time, the decibel was higher.
In front of me, was a world that was beyond my imagination. The world with lush greenery. The world with infinite peace. I felt like I had stepped into a proper evergreen forest kind of holiday destination. As I stepped inside, I saw silver clouds in the sapphire sky. I saw the civilians, all with pure blue eyes being friendly and wishing each other as they strolled in the wide streets, with their respective works.
"Welcome to our world. We call it Cerulea!"
However, my mouth opened wide. I pinched myself only to reconfirm that I wasn't dreaming. I had stepped into a legit world of peace and calm.
"I am Neel." he turned around to look at me. I observed that his eyes were now dark blue.
"Welcome to our humble abode." he smiled.
"Our?" I couldn't stop myself from reacting.
"Yes. Now, this can be your world! " he said as he held my hand and closed the gate of the storeroom.
"Let me give you a tour to this place," he spoke as we strolled towards the gardens.
"Wait, give me two minutes," I asked him to be excused.
Meanwhile, he happily chatted with a few people who stopped by to exchange pleasantries.
I turned around and fished out my mobile phone. For some reason, the network was low. I read the message of Deep once again. And took a deep breath. I was reminded of the words of the poem that was spoken to me by Neel. There would be no light without darkness.
"I agree with you Deep. I am ready for the divorce. The end of our marriage would be the beginning of my new life!" I messaged him. Then I switched off the phone.
As I turned around, I saw Neel, standing in front of me, without the company of anyone.
"Come, I have been dying for ages to show you our world!"
"So you call the ten minutes as "ages"? I teased him.
"Nope. I call 22 years as ages!" he spoke up and I wondered what was he talking about. How could he wait for 22 years (which was the majority of my age? I was 27.)
