Era's POV

Heya, everyone! I hope you are enjoying the story! Is that okay with you? I mean, the speed of the story? Or should I go faster? Please, please let me know! It's a request!

The evening rustled with the autumn leaves, falling around here and there as I waited eagerly for now late Neel and my other friends. However, I couldn't find anyone and wondered if Neel had forgotten about our outing.

I was standing in a park outside my office with my hands folded around my chest. Even though the effect of winter was wearing off, I had forgotten my sweater.

I saw Neel coming towards me on his bike. I smiled and rushed eagerly to be at his side.

"Where are others?" I wondered out aloud.

"Oh?" he was puzzled. And then the realisation struck his mind. He laughed and said that they would join us soon.

I sat behind his cycle that sailed smoothly like a hot knife on a cube of butter. I looked around for the signs, but he didn't tell us where we were going.

His cycle stopped in the pub, the place where I had gone with him on my first day in this land. However, it was surprisingly empty. We sat on the main sofa while the bartender waved us a good night. Soon the chef too exited the place after keeping a boiling coffee on our table.

Neel got up and shut the door of the pub from inside.

"What is going on?" now I was nervous.

"We are on a date," said Neel, as he pulled me closed to him and poured me a cup of coffee.

"But where are the others?" I asked him and he smiled.

"Do we have people when we go to the date?" he smiled as he kissed the back of my hand while his eyes never left mine. "We are going to have a slumber party cum date." he laughed.

I looked down and blushed. He had that effect on me. I would suddenly get so conscious about how I looked when he would be around. Since I had no idea that I would go on a date, I had no time to prepare myself. And now I was stuck with him in an isolated pub with my clothes and hairstyle that I had been wearing since morning.

Automatically my hands flew smoother out the creases of my clothes and adjusted my hair, but Neel grabbed them.

"You look beautiful the way you are, Era, trust me!" he said, and under the scrutiny of his eyes, I felt relaxed and hyperventilating at the same time.

He used the remote to increase the temperature, and within a few minutes, the room felt warm and comfortable.

I turned around to look at Neel, who grabbed a strand of escaping hair and put it on behind my ears. I looked down and blushed while he looked away.

Our love was new, and the tension was fresh. I had no idea what to talk about because he already seemed to know a lot about me. And I had one whole night to spend with him. I wondered what we would do next.
