Heya guys, due to some reason, the 2nd ending got deleted. But here I am, typing it at late night. Hope you would love it!

ERA's POV

"I am delighted to announce that Era would be the Editor in Chief of the "Sapphire Imprint" of the Cerulean Fiction publications!" announced Satya Oza sir and everyone in the office cheered.

Neel, Mihir, Nisha, Vikram, Aisha and Karanveer uncle were present to cheer me up. It had been 1 year from the day of the carnival when the whole town decided to accept me with the open arms, thanks to the favourable decision of the Council.

I joined the Publishing house as the Assistant Editor and climbed to the ranks of Editor in Chief with my own imprint, meant for the fiction books by the upcoming authors!

Meanwhile, my divorce got finalised the previous week and I celebrated it with Neel Mihir and Nisha.

My book was the best seller in Cerulean city and I admit I made quite a money from it. Also, I submitted my book to a publishing house in the outside world and it became famous in my country too. Needless to say o am quite well off now and I have no worries about paying bills.

The wounds of my horrible marriage had almost healed but I was still unsure if I was ready to marry yet. I mean, what if this marriage too proved to be a disaster?

My parents still believe that I am living at my uncle's mansion and having a wonderful job at city'a publishing house. (Satya uncle used his contacts from outside world and ensured that I get few people to vouch for my job's authenticity in case the need arises). Whenever they come to meet me, I take a few days off from the Cerulean city and stay with them in the mansion.

The previous week when they visited my home, I introduced them to Neel as my colleague from the job. They liked him and spent time with him. I guess they wanted me to think about marrying Neel or atleast think about marrying someone. I took their subtle hints with the pinch of salt and they stopped the subject of marriage.

Within a year of our dating, Neel never made me feel like a loner. He knew I was financial or mentally strong woman and fully capable to take care of myself. However I needed an emotional anchor and he made sure to be with me during all the ups and downs. Not through his words but subtle actions. He didn't brooch the topic of marriage as he knew I had a phobia and needed sometime to recover.

"Hurry Era, we need to pick up my wedding dress!" Said Nisha as she dragged me to the shop where wedding gowns were made. Do you know that Cerulean city have blue wedding gowns?

Anyways, Mihir had proposed Nisha and Nisha made me her bridesmaid. We had gazillion things to do. And finding a perfect wedding attire was one of them. Soon Nisha found her wedding gown and proceeded to pay for it when I glanced lazily outside the window.

I saw a small child running and falling down. Before I could go and calm that crying child, I found Neel picking him up and tying his laces. The sight warmed my heart and I started imagining the kind of father or husband Neel will be. And that's when I realised that I was ready for another marriage.

As Nisha exited the shop from the back gate (her bike was parked there) I called out Neel who was busy trying to make weird faces to make the child laugh.

Neel was pleasantly surprised and embarrassed (as he rarely presented his goofy side to anyone) and proceeded to hug me. He asked me about my day and started talking about his. As he excitedly proceeded to tell me about his recent project, I felt his grandfather's ring adoring my middle finger. Yes, I would propose him with that ring. It rightly belonged to him. I would propose him tonight. Yes, I wouldn't waste a single minute. I wanted to be with him. For the rest of my life. I knew my marriage would be flaw-some but I would do my best to make it wholesome.

I hugged him tight again in the middle of the conversation and even though he was surprised by the sudden hug, he hugged me back. I looked at the sky and thanked heavens for providing me the new lease of life.

I had now chance to make everything normal. Everything beautiful. I deserved to be happy. And now I had finally found it!

So guys did you like the second ending? Thanks for bearing with my irregular updates in this whole journey. Trust me, life is a whirlwind now. Thanks for being with me during my bad days! With this I conclude this novel. Hope you all loved it! Do let me know which ending did you love the most!
