Era's POV

"So do you guys have dragons? Or unicorns? Or werewolves? Or are you some kind of avengers superhero? Can I see a unicorn? Or are you all some kind of sorcerors"?I couldn't contain my child-like excitement. It looked like the movie The Chronicles of Narnia. With the kind of life I lived, I was desperate to believe in magic.

Neel smiled. And then facepalmed himself.

"No. This isn't any kind of rendition of Twilight or Harry Potter or How to train your dragon. And don't even think about Avatar. It's a place resided and run by mature and peaceful people." he clarified.

I felt sheepish.

"Ummmm I am sorry. You see I am a writer so my imagination runs wild!" I clarified.

"I know." he cut me in between.

He gave me one of the two cycles that were lying idly . "We are bunch of health conscious people around here. Mind if we use cycles?"

I hesitated. No. I never mind. I had seen a few people roaming around in the cycles. But I didn't know how to use it.

"What happened?" He looked bit concerned.

"Don't tell me you don't know how to use cycles?" He exclaimed.

"Well, I am afraid that's true." I confessed.

Neel muttered something under his breath. He looked troubled.

"What happened? Is that something bad?" I asked him.

"There are a lot of concerns that we need to address. And yes, they are related to you. But don't you worry. I will do something about it. Till then, you can sit behind my cycle." He offered me.

I sat behind his cycle, adjusting my salwar kameez. He rode the cycle through the series of many trees. He said that it's more fun than going through the roads. I also observed that people didn't use any other vehicles.

"We believe in keeping our city without pollution." He clarified.

We went through the series of roads, all carefully planned. The roads were strictly turning at the angle of 90 degrees. There were trees everywhere. The houses were in the colour of blue and white.

Every house had a huge backyard. I could see across the fence that many vegetables and plants were grown.

There were shops, grocery stores, hospitals, schools... all the buildings with different shades of blue.

The streets hustled and bustled with conversations of busy who walked with a relaxed pace.

People looked at me with a certain interest. Maybe because I didn't have blue eyes or blue coloured clothes. They tried not to be rude by averting their eyes whenever I saw any of them looking at me. I decided to focus on the city tour.

I suddenly felt a wave of shiver run through my body. Neel sensed it and stopped his bike.

"Sorry. This place has winters for 6 months straight. Take this." He removed his hoodie to reveal a polo tshirt beneath a well muscular frame. And gave it to me.

I wore it promptly and warmth coursed thorough my body. I was certain that the hoodie was made up of more than the wool.

We then went to another section of town. As the sun was setting, I came in contact with a beautiful bloody setting of sun. The chirping of the birds had ceased. I came in contact with another side of town that had roaring river, waterfalls, mountains, terrains and lush green forest.

"If you head towards the eastern direction, you will come across the most breathtaking beaches ever!" He spoke like a proud owner displaying his toy to another kid.

" I found the city so beautiful. Clearly people are happy over here!" I spoke up. And wondered if I could be part of the place.

"I can't understand why people have blue eyes. Also, why does this place open for me? And not for others? How can a place like this exist in real life? Why aren't there animals over here? How can I be the citizen here?

He smiled. "Don't worry. I will explain everything to you." He said.

We went to a nearby pub. That place served shots. It seemed that the whole town was present over there.

People of almost all the ages where merrily chatting with each other while youngsters laughed and animatedly chattered about their college.

"Hello everyone!" Shouted Neel.

"Hi!" Everyone reverted back.

"This is Era! Let's welcome her to our family!" He shouted and everyone raised their glasses towards me.

"Hey Era, you can join our group now!" Said the woman who seemed to be in her mid 30s. She was seated with around 15-20 women of her age. Apparently they had been discussing their husbands and food.

"You can also join us! We are having a tea ceremony!" Said a young girl who was sipping something hot (I saw smoke from the transparent cup) green tea. Other girls waved at us while one of the guy in another group of guys joked about how the guys seldom receive such enthusiastic welcome to join the activity.

"Tonight she is taken. But from tomorrow onwards she would definitely love to sit with you all!" Said Neel.

It was met with loads of "Awwwwwww"

"Finally you found the girl of your dreams!" Teased an elderly person whom Neel grindingly signalled to be quiet.

"You can share your girlfriends' company with us too!" Teased an elderly woman while the club echoed with laughter of others.

Neel blushed. His cheeks turning pink. He looked at me and signalled that we need to get out of the sight of others.

I noticed that people didn't drink alcohol here. Only wine. And soft drinks.

We both sat on the chair while the waiter served us "Blue lagoon" mocktail.

"You can try different drinks here so that I can know the favour that appeals you the most." Smiled the waiter, as I took a sip from the glass.

"That's very sweet of you!" I complimented his thoughtful gesture.

He chuckled and went to the bartender.

"Fine. Let me answer your questions one by one, okay?" Said Neel as he gazed at my ring again!
