LOVE

Hindi ko alam kung gaano na kami katagal ni Weston na nag-uusap, hindi ko na halos mabilang ang buwan na nagdaan dahil parang bumibilis ang oras kapag nakakausap ko siya.

Halos araw-araw kaming magkausap sa telepono, walang araw na hindi siya pumapalyang tawagan ako at kumustahin sa lahat ng aking ginawa.

I can't get enough of him. My system isn't complete when I am not talking and seeing his face, he's part of me now and that's what I know that slowly, slowly I am falling in love with him, ironic right? I said that I am not that kind of girl who will fall in love with someone I just met online but here I am, munching everything that I said.

"Yusra, there's something that I need to tell you..." That's the first sentence that Weston said when he called me.

"What is it?" I asked. "You're making me nervous, Weston."

There is a hint of seriousness on his voice and his face, ngayon lamang siya naging seryoso maliban sa tuwing kami ay nag-aaral.

"I am pretty sure what is happening to me," He said. "And you are the reason why I am feeling this way, Yusra."

Awtomatikong nakaramdam ako ng kaba at nerbyos nang matunugan ko ang sasabihin niya.

"Every single moment that I am talking to you, I am the happiest man on earth, I have never felt this feeling before, even to my exes. Only you can make me feel this emotion, Yusra." Sincerity is visible to his voice. "I have never wanted something the way I wanted you, I never treasure a date but when I met you, the day that I found you is still written in my heart."

My breathing hitch while listening to every word that he says.

"I am in love with you, Yusra Alcantara." He confessed.

My world stops after I hear everything. Hindi ako makapaniwala sa sinabi nito, my heart beats faster and faster, I cannot digest everything that he said.

"Say something, Yusra. You're making me want to pee on my pants." He joked.

Tumingin ako rito, my lips trembled while I am trying to find a words. I clenched my fists trying to get some energy from it.

"I-I don't know what to say-

"It's okay, you don't need to force yourself-

"Other than that I am feeling the same way." I stop him after he stops me.

Kita ko ang gulat sa kanyang mga mata habang nakatingin sa akin. He's really shocked. I saw how his hand shivered after he put his hands in his face. Hindi ito makapaniwala sa aking sinabi.

"I heard it right, di ba?" He asked, napatawa pa ako sa pagiging conyo niya. "You really said that you feel the same way, right?"

"I did," I answered. "You heard it right."

Pareho kaming ngiting-ngiti matapos kong sabihin iyon, hindi kami nagsalita at nakatingin lamang sa isa't-isa na may ngiti sa mga labi. I am biting my lower lip while he's biting his nails.

"Stop that, Weston." Hindi ko mapigilang suway sa kaniya. "You know nails are one of the dirtiest parts of our body. You collected all the dirt on your fingernails after you touched something."

"Okay, habibti." He winked. "I forgot that my future girlfriend is a doctor soon."

"Sira!" Tumatawang ani ko. "But, what does habibti mean?"

"It means my love." Nakangiting ani niya. "You are my love."

Hindi ko mapigilang takpan ang mukha ko sa kilig na aking nararamdaman. Ngayon lamang ako kinilig dahil sa isang callsign.
