JEALOUS

When I stepped inside of our house, I saw my Ate's friend. They were laughing and talking not until they saw me. They wave their hands to me so I wave back. Ngumiti muli ako sa kanila bago tuluyang nagtungo papasok sa loob ng kusina.

Nakaramdam ako ng uhaw kaya madali kong binuksan ang refrigerator, hinagilap ang pinaglalagyan ng pitsel at nang makita ko iyon ay nilabas ko na. Kukuha na sana ako ng baso nang biglang may nag-abot na nito sa akin.

"Thank you, Damien." I said with a smile on my lips. I get the glass in his hands before I pour some water on it. I drink all of it after.

"How are you, Yusra? How was your second semester?" Damien asked. He reclined his back to the table and looked directly into my eyes. "To become part of the healthcare worker is hard."

"That's true." I answered before drinking again while looking at him.

Sinenyasan ko siya ng saglit lamang upang ubusin ko muna ang iniinom ko, ngumiti ito sa akin at tumungo.

"I am still surviving the second semester. How about you?" Tanong ko rito matapos kong ubusin ang iniinom ko.

Nilapag ko ang basong ginamitan ko sa lababo saka sinalubong ang tingin niya.

I didn't know what's gotten to me, I just stared directly into his eyes. Appreciating the color of his Iris that surrounds his pupil. It is really gorgeous, it's calming just like the sea. He has a pointed nose, mahihiya ang ilong ko kung ikukumpara ko ito sa kaniya. Pinkish ang kulay ng labi nito just like Weston but my Weston's lips is more beautiful than him. Kapag ngumingiti siya ay lumalabas ang biloy sa kanyang dalawang magkabilang bibig. And take note that he is the team captain of the football team and one time I watched his game noong niyaya ako ni Ate and all I can say is that he really deserves that position.

"Honestly, I am really freaking tired but after I saw you it feels like magic, suddenly it fades away." He smirked, he was competing with my gaze.

I just laughed and didn't talk again. Simula noong nakilala ko siya noong pumunta sila rito sa bahay parati niya na lamang ako tinititigan at first it's really creepy but after knowing that he's just can't take away his eyes on me and he just want to introduce himself, he confessed that to me after we bumped to each other the same place, here in the kitchen. Noong una ay tinawanan ko lamang siya dahil hindi ako naniniwala, ilang beses lamang kami nagkita then he likes me agad? So it is really impossible that he likes me in such a short period of time.

But he's really damn serious, he asked for a chance to prove his love for me but I rejected it because I was already talking with someone kahit na wala pang aminan na nagaganap, I started to like Weston. I am really afraid to hurt him and Weston.

Damien didn't care about what I have said to him, he still insisted to show how much he likes or love me, noong una ay ilang beses ko na siyang pinagsabihan ngunit hindi siya nakinig he still do what he wanted even though I told him that he don't have any chance to me. Hinayaan ko na lang siya sa mga sumunod na buwan na nagdaan, I am really tired on saying no to him that's why I let him do everything he wants but still I always said I don't want to give the assurance that I will love him because deep down in my heart, the love that he wanted already belongs to someone else.

I just smiled at him and excused myself so I could go upstairs in my room. Pagpasok ko pa lamang ay agad akong nagtungo sa banyo upang maligo, ganito parati ang eksena ko kapag dumating ako galing eskwela hindi kaagad ako humihiga sa kama ko kapag galing ako sa labas dahil isa ang buhok sa pinakamaruming bahagi ng katawan at ayokong marumihan ang punda ng unan ko.
