Eun-Jae's pov
I thought that I would be able to have a nice peaceful morning, but of course with three hybrids in the house... That didn't happen. It's only been about two weeks since I adopted Hoseok. I noticed that Yoongi and Hoseok have completely different sleeping habits, which I witnessed first hand. When Yoongi sleeps, he likes to put his hands and arms between his knees. Most of the time, if he's not doing that then he likes to cuddle with me. When Hoseok sleeps, he likes feeling his arms face and body, caressing himself when he sleeps. I found it weird at first but when I realized that he did that as a way to comfort himself, my heart softened. His previous owner must have been so horrible that he needed to feel protected and comforted, even in his sleep. It made him silently curse that old woman, she was wrong for calling him useless. Hoseok happily accepted the fact that he could change his last name, but I told him that he didn't need to. He also opted to get a collar and tags. Of course, things got really difficult as Yoongi had gotten his heat. He started acting strange, worse than Jimin and was always cuddling with me. When both Hoseok and Jimin realized that he was in heat, they had to separate him from me which wasn't easy. Those two were covered in scratches and small bites, but they finally got him locked in a room. When his heat was over which was the start of the third week in September, Hoseok started his and they had to lock him in the farthest room away from me downstairs. Hoseok and Yoongi never really seem to argue, but Jimin and Hoseok were always fighting about something. It didn't help that Hoseok is older than Jimin, this brought on a lot of problems for my house. The first thing to go wrong this morning was the sound of glass breaking, I turned onto my side and shoved my face into the sheets trying to ignore the shouting.
Then I heard what sounded like a loud yelp, followed by a howl and then sounds of rushing footsteps. My door was suddenly thrown open harshly, banging against the wall. I shot upright feeling extremely panicked as I looked around my room for an explanation, I still wasn't used to the fact that this was the way that they would wake me in the morning. Jimin appeared in my doorway, breathing heavily. He suddenly slammed my door shut, making me jump again. He quickly locked it, as I heard rushing footsteps barreling up the stairs and towards my room. I nearly jumped out of my skin as I heard Yoongi's feral growl from the other side of the door, followed by a louder, deeper growl from Hoseok.
"Jimin, what is going on?" He snapped his eyes open, looking to me and quickly put his fingers to his lips. I looked at him in confusion, he made a shushing gesture before pointing to the door. I took that to mean that he wanted me to just stay quiet and listen to what was going on outside the door, which frankly had me worried.
"You stupid dog!"
"Oh, I'm stupid?!! I'm not the one who turned into their animal form and jumped on something, and then blatantly broke it!!" Hoseok shouted.
"You chased me around the house saying it was time for a bath!!!" Yoongi snapped. My eyes went wide as I listened to them argue, so Hoseok wanted to give Yoongi a bath. Huh.. Well, that's just odd. Although, Yoongi hasn't had a single bath since he's been here, he really hated baths. He does shower in his hybrid form, but he never baths in panther form. Every time I tried to get to him to, he would run off. Even Jimin who is a cat, at least would bath in both forms. Even though, he really didn't like water.
"Because you haven't had one since the time I've been here! Just take the damn bath!!" Hoseok argued.
"No way in hell! You can kiss my ass!" I heard shuffling as it suddenly went quiet, before hearing Yoongi growl. "Put me down, you mangy mutt!!" Yoongi shouted, "Nope. You're getting a bath today, I can tell that even my poor pup has trouble with trying to get you in the bath. So it's happening today." I heard Hoseok's footsteps lead away from the door, causing Jimin to let out a breath of relief. Hoseok gave me the nickname 'Pup' after he had taken care of me, when I had briefly gotten a cold over the weekend. I looked over at the clock, my eyes widening when I saw the time. I let out a loud shout, making Jimin jump and look over at me. "I'm gonna be late for class!!" I quickly shuffled out of my bed but got tangled in the sheets, and fell out of the bed. I closed my eyes, waiting for impact but it never came. When I opened my eyes, I saw that I had landed on someone's hard chest. I looked up, seeing Jimin looking down at me with a warm smile.
"Chim, did you catch me?" I asked, "Yeah, you probably would have hurt yourself had I not rolled this way." He smiled, "Aww, my sweet Chim Chim!!! You're so thoughtful. Thank you!!" I giggled loudly, I reached up and scratched behind his ears. He let out a loud purr, leaning into my touch as his tail swished happily. I kissed his cheeks, making him purr deeper as I continued to scratch behind his ears. A knock on the door, made me look over at it. "Pup, you have to wake up. You'll be late for class." Hoseok said, making me remember why I had gotten up in the first place. He was always reminding me of the things that I needed to do or get done, thank god for Hoseok and his schedule keeping habits. He apparently learned to keep a good schedule due to his previous owner being a teacher, "Ah!! I can't be late again!!"
I soon reached school, having a heavy load of homework to deal with after each one of my classes which sucks. Even in school, it was not so peaceful as I had wanted it to be. A fight had broken out sometime during the day, due to two hybrids getting into a heated argument. Yes, my college allowed hybrids to take classes which was great. At the moment, I was standing at my locker. "Hey, Eun-Jae." I turned my head to my left, smiling as Sehun came over with our other best friend Kai.
"Hey, Sehun. Hey, Kai." Sehun stood just an inch shorter than Chanyeol, but that's what I loved about him. He never did tease me once for being on the short side, which made me happy. He has a very sharp jawline, a high nose and thin lips, full, long eyebrows and eyes that look like half an almond. His eyes are small eyes with double eyelids and a long angular face. His nose is a bit big and he has a crooked mouth but altogether, he is extremely handsome. I had always been so fond of those eyes of his, they were so cute when he smiled. His hair wasn't that beautiful chestnut brown color it had been for the last few months, instead it was a lighter blonde color. He was wearing the long white cashmere sweater that I had gotten him as a gift, along with black pants and black vans. I met Sehun during the first semester, then followed by Kai, Suho and Baekhyun. Suho attended college here as well, but his schedule was packed so we didn't get to see him very often. Coincidentally, Sehun, Kai and I all had the same schedule which was great since we could eat lunch together.
"I heard from Sehun that you have two hybrids, both are cats? How is that going?" Kai asked, leaning against the wall. "Actually, I have three now." I scratched the back of my head, "Three?" Kai quirked his eyebrows at me, wondering what I meant. Kai stood at the same height as Sehun, but unlike him, Kai always teased me about my height. Kai has an angular face, a flat nose and his eyes are the most intense I have ever seen. He has really pretty eyebrows and nice big, pouty lips. Kai was very popular with the ladies, but he was just too much of an actual sweetheart to be a playboy. "Yeah, I took in a new hybrid. He's a golden retriever." I smiled, "So Jimin and Yoongi were okay with you taking him in?" Sehun quirked an eyebrow at me, he had met them both when Baekhyun had come over for a random visit. The boys didn't like him all too much, but Jimin and Yoongi eventually warmed up to Sehun. Although, they both still seem to have a strong dislike for Baekhyun which is odd. Suho on the other hand, was well like by both Yoongi and Jimin. It seemed like they trusted him better than they trust Baekhyun.
"Not at first. Yoongi and Jimin both got really possessive when Hoseok called me his owner, and then Hoseok got defensive when Yoongi became aggressive towards him. But I managed to calm them down. They all sorta get along now.. It's been almost three weeks since I adopted him." I rubbed the back of my neck, "Have you told Felix, Hyunjin or Han about any of them?" He asked, furrowing his eyebrows and I laughed nervously.
"You didn't tell them?!!"
"I don't have to tell them anything!!!" I threw my arms in the air, "Yes, you kinda do! They haven't seen you in weeks because you're purposely keeping them away from the house so they don't find them. They are starting to bother me about it!!" Sehun argued, "If I tell them, it's a possibility that He could take them away! I don't want that! You can't persuade me to talk to them about this either!" I pointed my finger at him, I closed my locker and walked off to the next class. Sehun trudged after me, trying to persuade me to tell them with Kai following after us two. The three of us were all in the same class, I actually have Sehun in the majority of my classes which was great.
"Do your brother's know about them?!"
"Yes. Well... They know about Jimin and Yoongi. Not Hoseok."
"And they are okay with you living with male hybrids?!" Kai quipped, making me groan. "Yes! They are. Now leave me alone. And I am not telling my cousins about them at all."
