Unexpected Meeting

Eun-Jae's pov

I sighed in relief knowing that I didn't have to work today, it was my week off. I usually had at least one week off, which just so happened to be the fourth week of September. Which reminds me, I should call my brother since his birthday is around the corner. Currently, I was shopping at the mall. Hoseok needed more clothes because Jimin kept tearing most of them to shreds. What am I gonna do with those two? Really? I can't believe they still won't stop fighting one another already, Yoongi on the other hand, seems to have taken a liking to him which is so opposite of how he acted when he first met Hobi. Funny thing actually, Hoseok learned how to cook from his previous owner and apparently, he was pretty good at it. I made Yoongi, Jimin and Hoseok stay home since I didn't want to run the risk of Han catching me with any of them. He works at this mall. Although, it was hard getting out of the door with both Jimin and Hoseok being very clingy. Yoongi managed to pry Jimin off of me, but when it came to Hoseok the two nearly went at each other's throats. This was not the first time that has happened though, they do argue, just not as much as he does with Jimin. Jimin actually had to step in and somehow got Hoseok to let go, in all of that, I managed to escape. As I walked through the crowded mall, I heard shouting and rushing footsteps.

"Stop that hybrid!!!"

I turned my head to the left, but in an instant, a large body collided with mine and I hit the floor harshly.

"Oh my god. I'm so sorry." A smooth, deep voice cut through the air, making me look up at the face of the person the voice owned. When I got a good look at him, our eyes met and I felt my breath being taken away. The young man in front of me was extremely handsome. It was like looking at a handsome looking character, straight out of an anime. He had sharp features, tan, fair skin and his face was amazingly symmetrical. He has a round, but long face at the same time. Just like Yoongi, he has a double eyelid and one monolid. The bridge of his nose sits high on his face, his lips are subtle but looks extremely kissable. His lips are very plump and thin at the same time, which fit his face well. His upper lip is slightly longer and more rounded than his lower lip, but they look so perfect. He has strong dark eyebrows, beautiful eyelashes and dark brown eyes, which were shaped perfectly to fit his face. His eyes was a combo of a monolid/double eye-lid combo. He has a mole on his lower lip, above his right nostril and under his right eyelid near his waterline which made him look even more attractive. His ears stick out a little, but I thought it was cute. I looked up, spotting that he has ash blonde hair, which sits perfectly on his head giving off a messy bed head look. Then I noticed the round orange and black ears, behind him was a orange and black stripped tail. My god, he's so hot. Holy crap, why is this man so handsome?

"Are you alright?" He asked, snapping me out of my trance. "Yeah, I'm fine." He held out his hand for me to take, so I did and thanked him as I stood to my feet. As I looked at down at his hand, which was still interlocked with mine, I realized that he has huge hands. I also noticed that he was pretty tall, his height just about the same as Hoseok's.

"I said stop that hybrid!!!"

"Look!! He's got a girl!! That must be his accomplice!!"

"Get them!!" Several men came rushing towards us, making me look on in absolute terror. All of them were huge. The young man in front of me looked back, spotting the men as his ears twitched. He suddenly made move to hide behind me, but one of the men caught him by the back of the shirt. He slammed him harshly to the ground, causing me to gasp as another man tried to grab me. I immediately kicked the guy in the knee, then his crotch and he hit the ground. "What do you think you're doing?!! Lying to me about what you were! You turned out to be a filthy tiger hybrid!" The man screamed at him, the young man squirmed to get from under his hold. Seeing how much violence they were using against him, just for being a hybrid really pissed me off. I need to help him. No, I'm going to help him.

"Yah!!" I screamed, catching the men's attention.

"What?!" He shouted back.

"What do you think you're doing to him?!"

"What does it matter to you?! Mind your damn business little girl!" He snapped.

"Oh, but this is my business."

"Oh and how so?"

"Because he's my hybrid!" The tiger hybrid looked up at me in shock and confusion, I made eye contact telling him to go along with it.

"Aish, what did I tell you about lying!? You know it's not good, tiger." I sighed, shaking my head.

"I'm sorry, master. I didn't mean to lie, I just wanted to help you. You were stressed from working so much, I thought by getting a job that it would lessen the burden." He said, his ears drooping slightly as he pouted. My goodness, he's so cute when he pouts. Stop it, Jae. Now is not the time to gush over how cute this guy is when he pouts. "It's alright, tiger. Just next time, come to me, okay?" I smiled lightly, "Okay." He gave me a small smile back, but winced in pain as the man shifted. "Yah!! I said let him go!! I just proved that he's my hybrid! Now let him go before I call the police on you!!" The man's eyes widened, he quickly let go of the tiger hybrid. "Why doesn't he have a collar, huh?! What kind of irresponsible owner are you?" The man snapped, "I just adopted him. He left before I could even get him a collar." I explained, "Well, keep him on a leash or something! Aish!!" The man and his other men stormed off, as the young man stood to his feet, brushing off his clothes and looked at me with curious but sincere eyes.

"Thank you... But why did you help me?" He asked.

"Because you needed it. I don't like violence being used against hybrids, I have three at home and they don't like being held down like that by anyone." I explained, "You.. You said that I was your hybrid.. Did you mean that? Or was that just a lie to get me out of that mess I created?" He quirked an eyebrow, tilting his head slightly. "Yes, I did mean that. Only if you wanted to take the offer. You look like you were only trying to make income for yourself in order to eat." I explained, scratching the back of my head.

"Really?! You want to adopt me?!" His eyes lit up, as his tail swished happily at the sound of that. "Yeah, really." Before I could say anything else, the young man suddenly tackled me in a large hug. He lifted me off my feet, swinging me slightly as he laughed and thanked me. Once he realized that he was doing too much, he set me on my feet and blushed furiously.

"Ah.. I'm sorry," He chuckled, his deep voice sounding smooth as his lips curled into a smile that looked like a box.

"I got overexcited. My previous owner kicked me out because I lied so much.."

"You don't have to worry about that with me. I won't kick you out. I'll just make sure you stop lying." I gave him a smile, "Nobody has ever willingly wanted to adopt me." He said, "Well, I am. By the way, I haven't heard your name."

"Kim Taehyung. I'm 20."

"Nice to meet you, Taehyung. My name is Kim Eun-Jae, I'm 18. I hope that we can get along well." I smiled, "Me too." He flashed his boxy smile and I couldn't help but squish his cheeks together, he laughed as I stared to fawn over how cute he was.

"Come on, let's get you some fresh clothes. And then we can go to the adoption center."

"Sure." I took his large hand in mine and pulled him to another store.
