3rd person's pov

After running around in the snow with her brother's, the four siblings headed back inside. To their surprise they found that the seven hybrids were awake and had been watching their snowball fight, they were even more grateful when Jin came out of the kitchen carrying a large tray that had mugs of hot chocolate on it. He somehow managed to make cups for everyone, which is good since they didn't want Jimin and Jungkook arguing over a cup. "So, what did you want to do for the day? I figured you came up with some sort of agenda, am I right?" Yoongi asked, looking at Eun-Jae from his spot on the couch. Everyone was sprawled out across the living room, enjoying funny conversations and their cup of hot chocolate. Jae broke out into a big smile, jumping to her feet and shouted which startled Chen and Kyungsoo who she happened to be sitting in between. Chen spilled some hot chocolate on his pants, making him groan as he wiped his mouth and placed the cup on the coffee table. "Jeez, sis. Calm down, will ya? He just asked a simple question." Chen glared up at the young brunette, as Jungkook passed him a napkin. He said a small thanks, taking the napkin from Jungkook and wiped his pants. "A question I've been waiting for him to ask since he woke up!" She beamed, making Namjoon chuckle in amusement as Xiumin shook his head, he knew that she was very excited this year to spend Christmas with them. After all, this was their first Christmas without their parents and having seven new additions to the family. Jae quickly rushed out of the living room and into Kook and Tae's room, grabbing a plastic bag out of the closet which she had successfully hid from Kook and Taehyung. "She seems really excited." Taehyung laughed, "She really is.. That's why she woke up so early. I don't even think she got a lot of sleep due to her excitement." Xiumin smiled, looking down the hallway. Jungkook chuckled to himself, hearing Jae muttering and mumbling to herself as she dug in the closet. "Has she always been like that?" Yoongi asked, looking over at the three brother's. "Always.. Christmas is her favorite holiday. She had this tradition that she made with Mom and Dad-" Chen's smiled dimmed when Xiumin mentioned their parents, Kyungsoo gave off a sad smile as he remembered the previous Christmas he spent at home with his parents. He never thought that would be the last time he ever saw his parents, he always pushed the thought to back of his mind. Chen, on the other hand, felt anger. Anger towards the person who caused the accident that nearly killed Eun-Jae and ripped apart his family, leaving Jae to enter the world of adulthood by herself. Xiumin felt a mix of anger, sadness and depression. He felt angry with whoever caused the accident, but he was most of all angry at himself. Angry that he never got to tell his parents that he loved them one last time, angry that he let the argument spur out of control and push him to move halfway around the world, angry that he left Eun-Jae alone to pick up the pieces after their death. He felt sadness not being able to spend time with his parents and not being able to apologize and make up with their parents. Lastly, he felt very depressed as he became the head of the family overnight, he also felt pressure at being CEO and needing to be there for his sister and younger brothers.

"What was the tradition?" Jimin asked, but before he could answer, Eun-Jae came rushing back into the room with a huge bag.

"We are gonna make GINGERBREAD HOUSES!!" She practically screamed, causing all of her siblings to smile while Taehyung, Jimin and Jin just laughed at her excitement. She set the stuff down on the coffee table in front of them, before pulling out another bag. She dumped the sweaters in a large pile right onto the chair next to her, she was actually wearing one herself and it happened to be purple. "And we'll do them wearing these!!!" Jin started laughing harder when he saw the Ugly Christmas sweaters that she had bought the day before. Taehyung stared in complete horror, scooting closer to Namjoon who was laughing as hard as Jin. The two of them had gone shopping with her yesterday, when they saw her pick the sweaters up, they knew she would definitely be using them.

"Where in the hell did you get that? I thought you said they sold out of those things??!" Yoongi turned to Jin, who held his hands up in mock surrender. "No, I never said that." Jin smiled, amused to see Yoongi and Taehyung so panicked. "Actually, hyung.. You did." Hoseok giggled, making Jin glare at him. Hoseok only chuckled, smirking as Jin rolled his eyes. "Here, put these on! I bought one for everyone to wear." Jin grabbed an ugly christmas sweater which happened to be a nice shade of pink, he happily slipped it on and smiled at Jae who was beaming at him. He grabbed another one, throwing a nice lavender colored sweater at Namjoon who caught it with ease, wasting no time and put it on. He then handed a baby blue one to Jimin, who happily accepted his ugly christmas sweater. Jungkook rifled through the rest of the pile of sweaters sitting on the chair, he tosses a green colored sweater to Hoseok who put it on with no problem. Jungkook rifled through several more sweaters of a different shade before finding a black one which actually had a decent pattern on it, smiling, he slipped it one and hugged Jae from behind. "Thank you, Bun." He smiled, kissing the top of her head. Jae blushed lightly, smiling at him as she saw the sparkle in his brown eyes. Noticing that two of her hybrids had not put on a sweater, she walks out of Jungkook's embrace and grabs an ugly white Christmas sweater, cats strategically placed everywhere on the fabric. She smiles as she spots a gray ugly Christmas sweater and grabs it, knowing that Taehyung loved that color. Xiumin had already put on the navy blue sweater, Kyungsoo had on a black one and Chen had on a royal blue Ugly sweater. They knew not to argue with her about it, besides it was a tradition to wear them on Christmas Eve and make Gingerbread Houses.

"Wear this one, Yoongs. It suits you." She holds it out to Yoongi, who starting muttering his breath and crossed his arms. "I'm not wearing that." He glared at the sweater in her hands, his ears flicked slightly just as did Taehyung's. "Tae?" She holds out the gray one to him, he stared at it for a moment and caved in when Jimin nudged him with his foot. He grabbed the sweater, his ears flicking and his tail swished casually behind him. Even though he hated the material, he slipped it on anyway as he wanted to see Eun-Jae happy. That's all that matters to him.

"Yoongs, please wear it." She begged, turning back to Yoongi. The panther hybrid muttered more as he looked at, before snatching it out of her hand. Instead of putting it on, he just tied it around his waist and sat down on the couch. Knowing that this was a huge step for Yoongi, Jae couldn't help but smile at the panther for at least trying. She snapped out of her thoughts, clapping her hands as she looked to the boys. "Okay, everyone. This is going to be one epic Christmas Eve. The reason I gave you all Ugly Christmas sweaters is because of an old tradition in the Kim family household. My brothers and I came up with wearing the ugly Christmas sweaters on Christmas Eve while we baked cookies for Santa and watched Christmas movies. So let's get to making some Gingerbread houses!!" Jae cheered loudly, the boys, all except Yoongi who was still not happy about the sweater, cheered loudly and hopped to it.
