Eun-jae's pov

To say it's been a little bit hectic the past several months is an understatement, I officially adopted Jimin and Yoongi that next morning and got them checked out at the vet. Which was extremely hard, especially because they both absolutely hated doctors. I managed to calm him down enough to get a physical done and the shots were almost impossible, but he did them anyway and held onto me the whole time. Yoongi on the other hand, was a bit harder to deal with but in the end, he let them do the tests. I also made sure to do a lot of research on hybrids and the different types, especially since I now had to take care of one. Jimin has been amazing, once he fully adjusted to living with me, he became my best friend. He made me laugh a lot, we always cuddled, we basically were made for one another. Adopting him and Yoongi was the best thing that could have happened to me. I even got the courage to tell them about my parents' death and Jimin fully opened up to me about his past, he became my comfort buddy and I became his. He loves to cuddle, so he is always clinging to me, either in human form or cat form. Sometimes it is hard to get anything done with him constantly attached to me, but honestly, I don't have any complaints. It took some time for Yoongi to warm up to me, but once he did, he became another best friend to me.

They are both very protective of me, which is something I learned when Baekhyun came over that day to help me write my paper, they both nearly started a fight with him. I managed to calm both of them down, although I realized just how dangerous Jimin and Yoongi can get when angry. Jimin is very attentive, he loves showing his affection so he always scents me when I come home from work at the Cafe. Yoongi also scents me every now and then, when Jimin isn't all over me. Jimin also sleeps in my bed every night, as if he's protecting me from something evil. He loves cuddling, at first I was nervous about having a guy in bed, but I eventually got used to him holding me as we slept. I swear he will be the death of me one of these days, especially with that smile of his. The thing that I was most worried about was their heats, Jimin's usually came every first week into the month, while Yoongi started every second week right after Jimin. I often had to lock them in a room downstairs. Yoongi was extra protective of me when Jimin was on his heat and it was the same vice versa. It wasn't easy dealing with it, especially because they were always in so much pain. But the worst part of it was that it was hard to get heat suppressants for them, since they were really expensive. Jimin and Yoongi always insisted that it was fine and I promised that once I had enough money, I would be able to get them some. Lucky for me, Suho had stocked up on heat suppressants so he lent me a bottle for Jimin and Yoongi. I hadn't told Han, Felix or Hyunjin about adopting Jimin since things have just been crazy. And I don't know how they would feel about either. However, I did end up telling all three of my brother's about me adopting Jimin and Yoongi and they seemed really worried but once they knew that I was fine, they were okay with it. Jimin and Yoongi hasn't met them yet, but they do know about them. I just don't talk about them often because it makes me sad and angry that they are still in the U.S. and not here with me. Besides, I was busy with school, dance club and work. I actually often took Jimin with me to dance practice and he seemed to really enjoy it, so he always was with me when I would go. Yoongi would usually stay and home and offer to cook lunch and dinner for me, which was really sweet in my book.

At the moment, I was working on my math homework and it was really starting to mess with my mind. I was really good with subjects like science and Literature, but I wasn't very good with math at all. It was my weakest subject, even in elementary school. My oldest brother used to tutor me, since I needed so much help. "Whatcha doing, Kit?" I felt a dip in the bed behind me, as Jimin wrapped himself around me. His arms went around my waist, as he rested his head on my shoulder. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see his tail flicking around with interest. "Math homework." I grumbled, typing angrily away at the question that popped up on the screen. Jimin let out a chuckle, watching me get frustrated and put a hand on mines which got me to stop.

"Take a deep breath, Kit. You won't be able to get any of it done if you keep getting frustrated like that. And you might break the keyboard if you keep typing so hard." He laughed softly, his breath tickling my ear.

"Where's Yoongi?"

"He's sleeping."

"I have to finish this stupid assignment by tomorrow. But I just... I'm having trouble with it. Math has never been a strong subject for me." I sighed, feeling angry with myself for not being able to get it.

"Well, then it's a good thing that math is my greatest strength." He smiled.

"Really?" I turned my head to look at him, "Yes. Although, we were locked up in a lab for most of our lives, there was a nice scientist who taught us a lot. She taught Yoongi hyung and I how to read, how to write and basically everything that we needed to know about the outside world. That's why we know a lot about college level education. She actually taught us all of that while we were there.. Nobody knew about it, of course. But one day, I overheard the doctors talking and found out they knew.." He sighed, looking down at my hands. "What happened to her?" I asked, speaking softly as I intertwined our hands. "They killed her, her husband and one of her children. Even though, her husband and children knew nothing about us, they still killed them. They didn't want us to learn anything and she directly disobeyed their orders. They believed that if we learned about the outside world, we could possibly come back one day to get revenge on them. After her death, that's when Yoongi Hyung made the decision to get us out of there. It took time and careful planning, but we eventually got out of there." He pouted at the end of his story, as I leaned into him.

"I'm so sorry for your loss, Chim chim."

"It's alright. The day we escaped, I promised that I would never let Yoongi and I be in that kind of situation again." He shook his head, a smile suddenly crossing his features.

"What do you say I help you finish math and then we can watch a movie and cuddle?" He asked, making a smile appear on my lips.

"You really want to help me do homework?" I chuckled, "Yes and the sooner we finish it, the sooner we can cuddle." He smiled, his eyes disappearing and I laughed. Jimin and I sat at the computer with him helping me finish all of my math homework within an hour.

We set up a nice little comfortable fort in the game room, which Felix had put in for me to use whenever they came over. I brought the snacks over while Jimin picked a movie, the two of us then finally sat down after the lights were turned off. A little while later, a sleepy Yoongi trudged into the room and plopped down next to me. "What did you pick, Chim?" I asked, setting the drinks on the small inn table beside the couch behind us. "You'll see." The movie started playing and I nearly cracked up when I saw that it was The Notebook, this is Jimin's favorite movie. He excitedly came over to me, pulling me closer to him as he rested his head on my shoulder. I smiled, scratching behind his ears and heard him purr lightly as we watched the movie. Yoongi's head rested on my lap, the three of us watching the movie in peace. As the movie went on, my mind wandered and took my attention off the movie itself.

Just who is the woman who helped Yoongi and Jimin? I knew that they would tell me in due time when they felt that it was the right time to tell me about her, but it only made me even more curious. This woman, whoever she was, I wish I had the chance to know her. I would thank her furiously for raising these two to be so well off, that they might have grown into the way she wanted them to grow. Whoever you are, thank you for protecting them as long as you could.
