Eun-Jae's pov

I woke up with a start, having the same nightmare I've had in the past few nights. I patted my chest, trying to calm myself down as I sat up. A light sheen of sweat beaded across my back and forehead, so I slipped off the hoodie that I had been wearing to sleep and wiped my forehead. I flung it onto the couch, as I let my eyes room around the room before they landed on Kook and Tae's clock sitting on the left side bed table. It read that it was three in the morning, which made me groan softly. I looked over to my left, content with the fact that I hadn't woken Jungkook or Jimin up. Jimin had decided to sleep down here with the two of us, wanting to get away from Taehyung and his clinginess. Jungkook was completely dead to the world, his head facing me while his body laid flat. His ears and black hair were splayed over the pillow, his arms stretched above his head. Jimin was sleeping to my right, curled up in a ball and facing me. His cheek was squished against his pillow, his arms folded across his chest. They both were completely out of it, which made me relieved that I never seemed to wake Jungkook. I let out a soft sigh, pulling my knees up to my chest as I sat up and leaned against the pillows. My heart was still pounding in my chest, I closed my eyes and shut them tightly trying to get rid of the nightmare that had woken me up. But nothing I tried worked, this nightmare wasn't just a nightmare to begin with. It was actually a traumatic memory that I had tried to keep locked away, since it happened. This memory was of the accident, the day that my parents and I got into an accident and they died but I survived.

Flashback... (Early March; the night of the accident)

"Okay, okay. How about this one?" Dad chuckled, he leaned forward a bit and turned on a different song on his phone. Mom smiled, shaking her head as she nodded to the beat of the song that was playing. When Dad started singing, I couldn't help but groan and cover my ears as he sang so horribly off key. Naturally, Dad was a very good singer but he often would sing off key to make Mom and I laugh since he knew it would crack us up. "Oh my god, Dad. Stop." I covered my ears, Mom only laughed while Dad wouldn't stop singing. We were heading out to eat from a game at my school, which my team won. To celebrate the victory, Dad decided that we should go out to eat. In all of the excitement, joking around and laughter in the car, we didn't notice that something bad would happen next.. One minute, we were laughing and joking around. The next, a large SUV plowed into the side of the car. Dad swerved after we were T-boned, causing the car to flip over at least three times and slide down the empty highway. Everything went black after we flipped, I could hear my mother screaming for my Dad and him screaming for me. When I opened my eyes, I let out a strangled cry, noticing that I was hanging upside down from my seat and luckily my seatbelt kept a death grip on my waist. Tears streamed down my face, as I felt blood drip down my forehead. I groaned, moving my arm to reach up and wipe the blood that was running down my face. When I touched the sticky substance, I pulled my hand away and grimaced heavily at the sight. I have always hated the sight of blood, it always freaked me out to see it. My chest hurt, my head was pounding and my left arm definitely was broken. I panicked as I didn't hear anything other than my movement and the sound of the car that hit us driving off. When I looked out of the broken window, I caught a glimpse of the license plate number.

"Mom? Dad?" Through my blurry vision, I looked around the car and my heart stopped as I saw that my mom was not in her seat. I looked around, screaming for her and my heart dropped when I saw that she had been thrown out of the car's windshield. She laid face down on the pavement, not moving a muscle while Dad was unconscious. He had a large gash on his forehead, blood dripping down making it caked with blood. His necklace hung loosely from his neck, also covered in his blood. His arms hung above his head, while his eyes were closed but his face was scrunched up in pain.
