Hoseok's pov

"So.. Is she really your mate?" Chen asked, shock clearly written all over his face. "Yes, she is. Not just to one of us.. But all seven of us are her mates as well as mates to one another." I explained, the three of them looked even more shocked at my comment than when Jae told them that Jungkook was one of her mates. "But you guys don't act like you are mates." Chen added, looking confused. "The seven of us chose to be platonic mates, Eun-Jae is our only romantic mate." Yoongi spoke, "I see.." Chen sighed heavily, placing his head in his hands as he sat down on the couch. We had all moved into the living room as Jin had gone downstairs to check on Jae, Namjoon brought Jungkook back to his shared room with Taehyung and locked the door. "What the hell was I thinking?" He questioned, "Chen, we didn't know." Xiumin said, trying to comfort his brother. I could smell all the guilt radiating off of him and I could smell Jae's grief from down the hallway, I knew she was really upset and I wanted nothing more than to comfort her. "We may not have known.. But there was no reason for me to be that upset. Nor was it right for me to judge her the way I did.." He snapped, "I remember Dad telling us that when a male hybrid is in heat and he has a female mate who is not a hybrid, she can often be easily influenced or give into her mate's advances because the mate pull is just that strong. And half of those times, they can completely be submissive towards their partner. That's obviously what happened to Jae while Jungkook was in there with her. How could she reject him like that when she obviously very much loves him? I made Jungkook out to be the bad guy when it's not his fault nor is it hers.. I.." Chen ranted, he breathed in deep and rubbed his eyes, I could tell he was trying his best not to get emotional. "And now, I've gone and made her cry." His voice cracked, "She felt so scared to tell us about this because she was afraid of one of us blowing up at her and she was right." Xiumin sat beside Chen, pulling him into a hug. I could see that Xiumin just wanted everything to be alright, he looked up at me and our eyes met.

"Who else knows about this?" He asked, "I believe she told Jackson and Jin-young. Baekhyun, Sehun and Suho know about it to. I think she told Chanyeol and Kai as well." Jimin spoke up. Chen let out a quiet sigh as Han rubbed his face, I could smell the guilt all over him. "Kyungsoo.." Xiumin looked up at the young man, who had been standing silent ever since we got her out of Jimin's room. From what I could tell, he was very much angry with Chen for his reaction.

"I cannot believe you let your anger cloud your judgment, hyung." He started, Chen looked up at Kyungsoo in surprise. "You seriously expect Jae to come to us with stuff like this when you are the one who has been known to blow things out of proportion when it wasn't necessary. This is why she didn't come to us. It's the same reason she didn't tell Felix, Hyunjin or Han. She was afraid of being judged like how everyone else out there in this world judges Hybrid/human mates or couples. What she needed from us was support not anger, not judgment. She needs us to be there for her. We no longer have our parents for that. She relies on us for support and love that she can no longer have. So it's either you go and apologize to her and tone down your judgmental douchieness or I will never speak to you again. Neither will I be speaking to you, Hyung!" He snapped, turning his attention to Xiumin.

"What? Why me?" Xiumin asked.

"Because you didn't stop him! You just stared at her and she could hardly get her words out to explain herself. Not that she always has to. She's an adult for crying out loud. I'm taking a walk." Kyungsoo stormed off, grabbing his coat from the dining room chair and put his shoes on. "Wait. Hyung.." Hyunjin started but Kyungsoo ignored him and left out the front door, slamming it behind him. All of us jumped as we heard the door slam, the walls shook slightly and some of the pictures nearly fell off the wall. It stayed silent for a moment, I knew that Jae had at least stopped crying and I could hear Jin's small whispers to her through the door. I just hope he can make her feel better. Chen looked down at the floor, he took a deep breath and stood to his feet. "What are you doing?" Xiumin asked, looking up from his seat on the couch.
