An Accidental Kiss

Eun-Jae's pov

Today was an exciting day for me, since Baekhyun and I were off shift today. We decided to go to the beach, to relax and have fun just hanging out. Of course when I told the boys about this, they were not happy at all. Taehyung was all pouty with me, begging me not to go while Jimin heavily protested against it. Hoseok fussed just as much as Jimin did, maybe even more while Yoongi just heavily sulked and buried himself into the couch. I didn't give in to any of their tactics, stating firmly that I was going and they couldn't stop me. Then they tried to coax me into bringing them along but I was heavily against it, since they needed to do things here at the house. Besides this was only a day for Baekhyun and I, Suho and Sehun were going to busy working. So Suho basically left Baekhyun in my care for the day. I was so excited that I packed my bag super early, only to find out on the news that the weather was bad and nobody could go to the beach. To say I was bummed is to say the least of what I actually felt. "Aww, that sucks.." Tae snickered from his spot on the floor, he was watching the news with me. "I guess that means you don't get to hang out with him. Good, I don't want him seeing you in that two piece you bought just last week." Jimin hummed, he was leaning against Taehyung on the floor. My phone pinged, so I checked to see that Suho was dropping Baekhyun off here at the house since the beach day was canceled. "Eh, it's not the end of the world there Cub. He's just a dumb fox anyway. And you're not even his owner, so you're not obligated to hang out with or anything." Taehyung shrugged, making Jimin chuckle as he popped a piece of toast in his mouth. "Yeah, so no obligation there. Besides, you're our owner. He doesn't need to see you outside of work. You have us." Jimin said, swallowing the bread in his mouth.

For some reason, their comments left me burning, angry and hurt. Baekhyun was one of the first people I met besides Sehun, who then introduced me to my group of friends in school. He was the first person to make me feel comfortable, the first one to get me to smile as I entered school and didn't have my parents or my brother's to guide me. He took me under his wing, guiding me through my first semester and even helped me get a job. In that all, he became someone very dear to my heart and I ended up with a crush on him. I growled at them underneath my breath, grabbed the nearest couch pillow and smacked them both harshly. Both of them yelped, not expecting the level of anger I felt towards the two of them.

"Hey!! Wait, Kit!! Wait!" Jimin yelled, holding his hands in front of him.

"No! Not wait!! You two are horrible! And just because the weather is bad doesn't mean I still can't hang out with him. Suho asked me to watch over him, so he's dropping him off here!"

"What?!"

"No way!! That stupid fox can't come here!!" Taehyung shouted.

"Too bad!! They are already halfway here! And since you both decided to disrespect him, you two can spend the visit in Tae's room! He's coming here and that's final!" I snapped.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. What's with all the yelling?" Hoseok walked into the living room, a half awake Yoongi trailing behind him. "She just started hitting us with the couch pillow and yelling. Now, she's banished both of us to our rooms while she hangs out with that stupid fox!" Jimin whined, "What? Baekhyun is coming here?" Yoongi let out a sleepy growl, as Hoseok's tail stopped wagging. "Yeah, he's coming here and there's nothing you can say that'll change that! Suho asked me to take care of him since we both were going to be hanging out anyway! So don't start a fight with me or I will hit you with this pillow too! And the only reason I hit you two with it," I turned back to the two feline hybrids, "Was because you were bad mouthing my best friend." I stated, crossing my arms as the pillow fell to the floor. "But I'm your best friend." Jimin whined, "Yeah. Me too." Taehyung whined too, pouting his lips. "He was my first friend! When I moved here, I had nobody but my cousins who don't even attend the same university as me! I was alone until I met him!" I explained. An hour later, Suho dropped Baekhyun off and it seemed even him just being here highly irritated them. Jimin wouldn't stop hissing at Baekhyun every time he made a move to hug me but I shot him a glare, which got him to stop.
