Yoongi's pov
I stood there slightly stunned as Jimin yelled at me over the phone, then proceeded to hang up before telling me anything about what was going on at home. In the background, I could hear the panicked breathing of Jae and the angry breathing of Taehyung who must have been outside the door. My tail flicked back and forth anxiously but I had to keep calm, it made me wonder why he specifically asked for me to bring Namjoon and Hoseok home as well. "Hyung, is everything alright?" I looked up from my phone, "No, uh.. I just got a call from my family at home. Something's wrong." I shook my head, "Do you need to go home?" He asked, "Yeah. I do." I grabbed my keys, "I'll be back as soon as I can. Tell Minho not to wait up on me." I asked my coworker, Soobin. "Sure, I'll let him know. Be careful!" He called after me as I exited the store, "I will." I walked out of the front door, slipping my jacket on and headed down the street, dialing Namjoon's number. Since the bookstore was a bit farther, I was going to need to drive over there to pick him up or have Jackson drop him off at the café. Jin had taken the car this morning, so it was currently at the café with him and Hoseok. "Come on, Joon. Pick up." I dialed his number again, ringing him for a second time. "Hello?" Namjoon's voice sounded from the other end of the line, "Finally, you picked up." I scoffed, walking up to the intersection. The café wasn't too far from my music store, so I often walked to the café when getting coffee or running errands. "Hyung, why are you calling me? I'm kinda busy right now, the bookstore is packed today. Some author is having a book signing today, so we are a little overwhelmed." Namjoon explained, "Look, Jimin called me." I crossed the intersection, making sure to look both ways as I crossed. "Why would he call you? He knows that you're working." He questioned, "Yeah, I know that. But Jimin only ever calls when something serious is going on at home. He didn't fully explain everything to me, he just told me to come home and bring you and Hoseok with me." I explained, "Why would he ask you for me and Hobi hyung specifically?" I could hear the uncertainty in his voice, "I don't know, Joon. Something is wrong and Jimin sounded extremely panicked on the phone while he was talking, I could hear banging and that can only mean, one thing-"
"Taehyung and Jungkook got out of their rooms somehow." He finished, "Yeah, which means we need to get over to those house, pronto. I'm heading over to the café now, do you think you can meet me there or do you want me to come pick you up after I get Hoseok?" I asked, turning a corner and watched as many more people walked and shuffled behind me. "I'll meet you there, I'll have to tell Jackson that I'm leaving early but I'll be there in about ten minutes." He answered, "Alright. Be careful on your way over, even if the snow has let up, the streets are still dangerous to drive on." I warned him, spotting the café up ahead.
"Don't worry, I'll be fine, hyung. See ya in a bit. Bye." I placed my phone in my pocket, rushing into the café just as snow started falling. I opened the door, shaking off some the snow that had fallen on me already and brushed off my jacket. I took in a deep breath, relishing in the nice smell of freshly baked goods and taking in the warmth of the café which felt nice compared to how it was outside. "Yoongi hyung, what a pleasure to see you." I lifted my head, smiling slightly as Sehun came into view. "Hey, Sehun." I greeted, "What are you doing here, I thought you didn't take lunch until a little later." He quirked an eyebrow at me in confusion, "Yes, I know but something's come up at home. I need you to get Hoseok for me and tell him it's urgent." Sehun nodded, looking concerned and walked off as I took a seat at a clean empty table. My ears twitched every time, I heard the bell at the front register ding as I noticed more and more people were starting to come in to get into the warmth of the café.
"Hyung?" I looked up from my phone, spotting Hoseok standing in front of my table. "Hey, Hoseok." He sat down, "What's the matter? Sehun said you had something urgent to tell me. What's going on and why are you here so early, your lunch break isn't for another two hours." He asked, his tail thumping slightly against the seat. "We have a problem."
