Tears and Secrets

Hoseok's pov

I couldn't bring myself to move after Jae ran up the stairs and away from me, the look in her eyes when I walked up to her.. It was full of pain and hurt. When she raised her voice at Jimin and Yoongi, Jungkook and Taehyung visibly flinched. I had never seen her so angry before, sure, Jimin and Yoongi were here longer than any of us others but it seemed that neither of them had never seen her like this either. The two of them scrambled to clean up, as I stood there shocked at how her reaction. From upstairs, all of us could hear loud sobbing which broke my heart. Taehyung's ears flattened, as Jungkook looked down at the floor sadly. "Look at what you did." Jimin snapped, his angry eyes were burning holes in the back of Yoongi's head. Yoongi didn't say anything, his ears and tail drooped as he kept to himself. In the time that I had been here, she has never yelled at Yoongi like that. In fact, those three were very close with one another. Taehyung picked up the picture that she dropped, holding both the frame and picture in his hands. I was shocked to learn that the reason why she was living alone in the first place was because of her parent's death, Jimin, Namjoon, Jungkook and Yoongi didn't seem surprised when she said that. Which got me wondering why, why were they so quiet about this? Did they know? "Her parents.. They're dead?" Jin said softly, looking to Jimin and Yoongi. Yoongi's ears flattened and he kept kept silent as he picked stuff up, while Jimin sighed sadly. "Yes... They passed away sometime earlier in the year.. Three months before she met Hyung and I." Jimin ran his hands through his blonde hair, as he sighed. So they've been together for that long?

"Why didn't Cub tell us?" I looked over at Taehyung, whose eyes were filled with unshed tears. Jungkook sat there looking a bit stunned, no doubt he was worried for her. Jin said practically nothing and stared at the staircase, worry etched on his face. "Does she not trust us?" Taehyung cried out, making Yoongi shake his head.

"That's not it." Jin shook his head, thinking the same thing I did. "If she didn't trust us, then she wouldn't have adopted any of us." I said, patting Taehyung on the shoulder to comfort him. There was only one reason that she didn't tell us, I knew that not having parents around was hard for her. Just like how she also didn't have her brother's around because they were halfway around the world, living together in the U.S. "Did you know?" I asked, looking over at Jimin. I was beyond pissed that he didn't let us know about this, this is too important not to know.

"Know what, Hoseok?" Jimin turned to look at me, "Did you know that she reason she lived alone before she adopted us was because her parents died?" I questioned, crossing my arms.

"Why does it matter if Yoongi and I are the only ones who knew that?" Jimin quipped, shrugging his shoulders. "So this whole time, you knew that her parents were dead and you didn't tell us?!" I snapped, making Taehyung and Jungkook flinch. "Yes, we knew. And we didn't tell you that because it wasn't our place too. She may be our owner but that doesn't mean she wants to absolutely share things like that." He snapped back, glaring at me.

"That doesn't matter! She is our owner! We are supposed to know stuff like this! You do realize that we are all older than her, right?! She is still so young and has a lot to learn. She doesn't even have her older brother's here to guide her! All she has is us!" I snapped at him, my tail swaying angrily as I took a step forward.

"You don't think I know that?!! You don't think I understand that we all are older than her?!! That she still needs guidance from her parents?! They are gone and there is nothing we can do that will change that. No amount of words or affection will change the fact that she lost her parents! Hell, I've been here longer than any of you. And so has Hyung! I know just how she feels! I... I know that she relies us on more because she's the youngest and we are all older than her." Jimin snapped, my eyes widening as I saw tears form in his eyes.

"If you understand that, then why? Why in the hell did you not tell us about this?!" I growled loudly, as Jimin started to get defensive. He immediately stepped forward, hissing at me as I growled back at him.

"What the fuck is your problem with me anyway?!!" I snapped.

"You suddenly just showed up here with her!! The first night, not even, the first few minutes upon meeting you!! You called her yours!! She isn't yours!!! Kit is mine!!" He snapped back, growling at me.

"ENOUGH!"

Namjoon's voice boomed loudly through the house, causing both of us to look at him in shock as the others immediately became submissive. My ears flattened as my tail drooped down, while Jimin looked like he wanted to cry. When I looked at Namjoon, he was radiating a large Alpha aura, just by the look on his face and in his eyes. Even Jin, who is his brother and a wolf hybrid was submissive towards his younger brother.

"Hobi hyung is right about the fact that we are all she has. But you two need to stop arguing. The whole reason we got into this mess is because both you and Yoongi couldn't settle your differences so you two tore up the place! Which we now have to clean. This is not what Jae needs right now. What she needs is for us to get along with one another, she needs us to be able to guide her when she is having a very hard time. Right now, she is crying in pain. She told me about the reason why she didn't want to talk about them." He paused, as I looked at him in surprise. So he knew as well, "She didn't want to bring this up because every time she does, she finds it incredibly hard to cope. Jimin and Yoongi were the first ones here, so of course, they would know something like this. They were her first hybrids. Jae needs us to be there for her. She's lost her parents, she doesn't exactly trust her Uncle, she doesn't see her cousins and her brother's are halfway around the world right now! So stop arguing all the time and find a way to actually fucking get along." He finished, and I realized he was right.

"Joon is right. We shouldn't be fighting amongst ourselves. She needs us to be there for her, not argue all the time with one another." Jin said, letting out a sigh.

"I'm gonna fix the frame.." Taehyung spoke.

"I'm sorry." We all looked at Yoongi, our eyes widening at what he had just said, Yoongi has never uttered the word sorry to anyone.

"I'm gonna clean this up.. And then I'll go talk to Jae. I'm sorry that you all ended being dragged into the clean up. I'll go start cleaning the living room."

With that Yoongi shuffled out of the room, as Taehyung held the picture frame tightly.

"Let's get cleaning." Namjoon said.
