A Big Reveal

Eun-Jae's pov

Today, I was thoroughly annoyed with the customers coming through the cafe. We seemed to be getting a lot of the 'Karens' and 'Kevins' so that made things a lot harder. In the little time that I had in between customers, Jackson and Jin-young had swung by while Jin was in the back room. Jin had met Jin-young and Jackson a few days ago apparently, when he was out with Yoongi. Let's just say, Yoongi was not happy when he came home and confronted me about the two of them. Jin, on the other hand, took a liking to both of them which made me happy. In that time, I had let it slip to the two of them that I had adopted one last hybrid. They were shocked, but realized that I was always doing the craziest things I said I would do. After they caught up with Jin and I, the two said their goodbyes, teasing Baekhyun the whole time they were leaving. "Man, I hate those two." He huffed, pouting his lips as he leaned back into the counter and crossed his arms. "No, you don't. You're just being overly dramatic, Baekhyunie." I smiled, ruffling his hair. He let out a groan, making me chuckle as I filled another order in. For some reason, today just felt like one of those days where something big was going to be revealed. Jin came out of the back, carrying a huge box of fresh fruit and I helped him put stuff in their spots. He smiled at me, kissing the top of my head before walking back into the kitchen to make an order. "So, question... How is it that Jin hyung treats you like a child?" Chanyeol asked, looking at me with curious eyes. "Namjoon said that Jin has a natural Mama bear instinct, so he always takes care of those younger than him. After all, he is the oldest in the house. And I guess he just babies me because I am the youngest in the house." I said, shrugging my shoulders as I filled another order. I placed the orders on the counter, calling out the respective names and smiled at the customers who came to pick them up. As I was finishing up another order, I didn't realize that my cousins had come into the cafe. "So.. You now... Have how many?" Baekhyun asked, taking a step closer to me.

"How many what?" I quipped, looking up from my notepad.

"Hybrids, Jae. Jin hyung said something about you adopting another one." Chanyeol chimed in, "Oh.. Yeah.. I forgot to tell you guys! I have another hybrid, his name is Jungkook. He's so damn cute and he's a year older than me! He's a gray bunny hybrid." I exclaimed, my eyes lighting up as I thought of Jungkook and his adorable smile.

"So that makes seven? You own seven hybrids now." Sehun quipped, making me nod proudly. I felt happy about that, they all always made me happy.

"You have WHAT?!" I turned my head, nearly dropping the cup in my hand as my eyes landed on my cousins. Hyunjin, Felix and Han all stared at me with wide eyes while I just looked at them with a nervous smile. Shit. I knew something like this would happen today.

"Hehehe... Hey guys.."

"You need to explain this now." Han said sternly. Sehun sent me an apologetic look, just as Jin came back from the kitchen. "Jae, is everything alright? When I heard the shout I got worried." Jin came over to me worriedly, as Han, Hyunjin and Felix stared up at him with wide eyes. "Hehe.. Jin.. These are my cousins.. Felix, Hyunjin and Han.. Guys, this is one of my hybrids, his name is Jin." I laughed nervously, as they glared at me. Jin looked at me with a look of shock, before turning his head to Han, Hyunjin and Felix. "Explain... Now. And when I say Now, I mean right now." Han said pointedly, making me sigh as I looked to Jin. I pulled him away from the counter, Chanyeol nodding for us to go deal with it as Han went to sit at a table. Jin and I sat beside one another, I shifted nervously in my seat prompting Jin to place a hand over mine while Hyunjin, Han and Felix sat across from us.

"So you adopted..."

"Jimin and Yoongi first. They actually broke into my house... And I found them raiding the fridge."

"Huh? Excuse me?!"

"What?!!"

"Calm down, you three. Jimin wasn't aggressive towards me. Neither was Yoongi. I took them in because they were kicked out of their owner's house for just being themselves, so of course, I adopted the two of them."
