There the boys were, that George and that Alexander. Hazel and Lavinia blushed as we neared them. The driver, sensing their welcome, stopped at them.

"Thank you, this will be it," said Daisy smiling prettily. Beanie looked up in admiration. Of course, I wasn't jealous. A little thing arrogant people always look out for but never notice; a sign of admiration. Ever since Daisy had slapped me, I didn't want anything to do with her.

"Aye, miss. T'is is not the destination you look for, aye?" asked the driver wearily, for the journey was incredibly long.

"What do you mean?" asked Daisy.

"T'is is not Eastfield," responded the driver.

"Oh, but we just want to be dropped off here," said Daisy, the sweet tone back in her voice.

"Never matter, we'll get in," interrupted George unexpectedly and waving his hand. When he got on, the choice of where he should sit affected him greatly. He looked at the spot between Lavinia and Hazel. Deciding that it was a win-win (if Alexander sat next to Hazel and him, while he sat next to Lavinia) for both of their lovers, he took a spot next to Lavinia. Lavinia blushed even more a this and Hazel, even more as Alexander took a seat in his recommended spot.

The driver eyed the newcomers, then with a shrug, moved on. First, it was silence. Then, it was broken by George, who took of his hat and said, "You look nice Lavinia. Goodness, I don't think you've ever told me that you wore dresses."

"Charmed," whispered Daisy loudly so that Lavinia could also hear. Lavinia glanced at her furiously.

"It's uh, just a-um-a...a dress, that uh-Macey-um Daisy! Yes I mean Daisy! Yes, Daisy"-Daisy still looked quite amused about her name getting mixed up-"lent to me. For the day. Yes. Not tomorrow. For the day," Lavinia repeated.

Lavinia was stuttering like a wild animal. Before anyone could laugh or reply, a huge bump went through the phaeton, which was echoed by a huge, "Neigh!". I screamed, while Beanie clung onto me for dear life while we all went up. Hazel rocketed sideways and slammed into the door, which flung open. Everything became slow. George and Beanie gaped, mouth open, fear in their eyes. Lavinia and I screamed again (I didn't think Lavinia would scream until now!). Alexander grabbed Hazel's upper waist and Daisy grabbed her arms. Everything stopped. Hazel was frozen, in the act of falling over, her mouth wide open and fear in her eyes.

"Hazel!" Alexander exclaimed. He hugged Hazel tightly. Everyone stared. Alexander released Hazel, knowing how embarrassed he was.

Daisy was busy smoothing out Hazel's dress muttering things like, "Don't know what you were doing" and "You wouldn't've fallen over. I would've caught you anyway".

"I'm okay, I'm okay," mumbled Hazel continuously.

"Where's the driver?" asked Beanie fearfully. That's when everyone finally realised the problem. George jumped out, followed closely by Daisy and soon, everyone filed out, one by one, Alexander holding Hazel's hand. The driver was inspecting the one of the horses hooves. "What's wrong?" queried Beanie.

The driver shook his head. "One of the 'orses 'ooves 'as a big bruise on it. Stupid rock's fault. Eastfield is just up there." He pointed to a huge driveway leading up to an even bigger house. "Meanwhile, gotta take the 'orse to a friend of mines. 'E's a vet." We agreed, then set up towards the driveway.

"I think..." began Daisy. "That this might've not been an accident."

"Whatever it is," said Alexander. "I'm afraid it'll have to wait. We might be able to require rooms-"

"Don't worry. My father's invited us all to the house. We will be staying there," said Daisy. Nobody talked on the rest of the way to Eastfield. When we finally arrived, we were in shock and awe of how magnificent and big the house was.
