Ms Haulings was just about to tell us something-something important when the door opened behind us. Ms Haulings beamed. "This," she said proudly. "Is my son, Edward. Just got into the best institution there is." Edward waved at us with a perplexed look on his face. We all waved back. I saw Beanie flush slightly but there was no doubt about it; Edward was the most charming boy we have probably laid eyes on. Except for Alexander. Except for him.
Edward had the same dark hair as Ms Haulings and her aura, which oozed comfort. Edward's eyes were a shining blue colour, almost the same as Daisy's. He was dressed formally, with proper shoes and socks and all of that. He cleared his throat. "Mum, I need a private word." Ms Haulings' smile faded as we were all shooed out of the room.
Daisy pressed her ears to the door. Her face fell, into excitement. "Edward's telling his mum that he doesn't want to attend school because.....because of his friend!' Beanie sighed at the mention of Edward. Daisy looked most displeased. "Beanie! I never! Well, before we all swarm around Beanie, Hazel, you should start the casebook. And quick!" she added. I fumbled for my casebook, which was hidden in a secretive pocket in my dress. I opened it to a new page and started to write.
Sorry this was a bit short....hehehe
