'Dear George and Alexander,

Whoever murdered Mr Blueberry was doing it illegally. Find out if Mr Blueberry is involved in the black market or does anything illegal at all.

Best wishes,

Daisy, Hazel and James'

I looked at George. "No wonder," I whispered.

George looked super annoyed. "Now we have to go back to the stupid mansion and...well, I'm tired of this ok?" He shook his head. "But for the sake of the junior Pinketons and Detective Society, let's go back. Oh, and also, make sure to tell Hazel, James and Daisy what Martha said.

Soon, we were back at the house. The police were gone, however, the tape surrounding the scene was still there. Obviously.

We'd sneaked in through a window that was foolishly open. George landed on two feet and nearly broke the toilet lid. I landed with a 'thud', but lightly.

"Ok, look for any secret openings, or a basement," muttered George. I nodded, though I doubt he could've seen me in the dark. We had tied a rope around each other's waist to prevent us from getting lost easily. My right hand's fingers traced along the smooth wall. After about ten minutes, we hadn't found anything.

"This house is huge," I moaned. "How're we ever going to find a crack?"

George shrugged. "We have to keep going, remember?" George jumped a little. "Come on, Alex, focus more! For Hazel," he added in cheekily. My face went red.

  The floor shook a little.

"What was that?" I asked, my voice quavering a bit. George jumped again, this time, more forcefully. A creak ensured and George disappeared.

At first, I was in shock. It had happened so quickly, my mind couldn't process what had just happened.

"You've got to be kidding me," said a voice from below my feet. "Alex! I think I found something."

"You think? George, you could be hurt for all I know!"

"If I was, I'd be yelling in pain right now. Anyway, jump down!"

In the darkness, I could barely see anything. Why we didn't bring torches was a huge mystery to me. I took a small step. I didn't fall. I braced myself and took a bigger step. And then I fell.

It was a wonder down in here. George found the lights and turned them on and we were both standing with our eyes wide, observing the things dumped down in here.

  "It's like a secret basement," I murmured.

"Hey, Alex, look: boxing gloves! Why would Mr Blueberry have these?" said George, walking towards a box containing a red glove shaped like a fist.

  "Maybe he boxes," I suggested.

"Look at all these video tapes," marvelled George aloud. "We should take these and play them back at Daisy's father's house."

"No need," I responded, pointing at a film projector.

We found a blank space of wall and I inserted a tape into the projector. A video of two men in a boxing ring came up, both fighting with each other.

"Woah," exclaimed George. "Big boxing fan."

I found myself nodding, but stopped. "Wait a minute George," I said. "That man...is that Mr Blueberry?"

  "I think so," replied George.

All of a sudden, someone pushes his way to the front and starts yelling. The audio was somehow extracted from the video. But as soon as the man started yelling, everyone, including Mr Blueberry, starting rushing towards what seemed to be the exit. That's when the film ended.

George and my mind clicked at the same time. "Mr Blueberry's involved in secret underground boxing matches."

"And what if he died from that."

anyway, happy early women's history month!! this matches perfectly with the story as daisy and hazel are both often neglected becacuse of their age and a little because they're women.
