Soon the test was over. The three were collecting papers from the three rows when Avu held her head which Abhi noticed. He kept the papers on the teacher's table and went to her. By the time he reached her she had fainted. He held her before she could fall off the bench. He bent down making her sit on the bench properly and took the bottle kept beside her bench. He removed her mask, and his hand froze as soon as her face was visible to him. His realised she doesn't have dust allergy but she was hiding from him. He moved those thoughts aside sprinkling water on her face. She slowly opened her eyes and when the first thing in front of her was his eyes, there was fear in them. He stood straight and even she sat properly and was about to wear her mask but Abhi took it away before she could. He went and collected rest of the papers.
Jaan: Itni der lagti hai ky... Abhi, sab thik toh hai? [Does it take so lo... Abhi, is everything fine?]
Abhi: Ha sab thik hai. [Yes everything is fine.]
No one had noticed Avu fainting. Soon all started leaving except Vaishneet and the three seniors.
Avu: Vaishu, tu ja, mai aati hu thodi der mein. [Vaishu, you go, I'll come after sometime.]
Vaish: Pakka na, tujhe pehle bhi chakkar aa rahe the. [Are you sure, earlier also you were feeling dizzy.]
Avu: Chinta mat kar, mai aati hu. [Don't worry, I'll come.]
Vaish nodded and went. Even the third senior went. Jaan was busy keeping the papers together and putting them in the folder.
Jaan: Abhi chale? [Abhi shall we go?]
Abhi: Jaan, tu ja. Mujhe kuch kaam hai toh tum sab ghar jao, maa puche toh bol dena papers ka kuch kaam tha. Aur yeh papers sir ke drawer mein rakh dena, yeh le chaabi. [Jaan, you go. I have some work so you all go home, if maa asks tell her some work of the papers was there. And keep these papers in sir's drawer, take these keys.]
She took the keys.
Jaan: Avneet, tu ghar nahi gayi? [Avneet, you didn't go home?]
Avu: Mujhe library jana hai, toh isliye rukhi thi. [I have to go to library so I stopped here.]
She nodded and went. Abhi closed the door and turned to Avu.
Abhi: Avneetay.
She looked down hearing the name he calls her after so long. She looked up when she felt him kneel in front of her.
Abhi: Kyu kiya tune aisa? [Why did you do this?]
She still kept quiet.
Abhi: Kuch toh bol, please. [Say something, please.]
Avu: Abhi mai woh...
Abhi: Mai tabki nahi pooch raha hu abhi, mai bas itna pooch raha hu ki kyu chup rahi thi tu mujhse? [I am not asking of that time, I am just asking that why were you hiding from me?]
Avu kept quiet.
Abhi: Sab dekha tune, phir bhi chupi rahi. Aisa bhi kya kar diya maine ki tujhe mujhse hi chupna pada? [You saw everything, yet you kept quiet. What did I do that you had to hide from me?]
Avu: Aapne kuch nahi kiya, jo kiya maine kiya. [You didn't do anything, I did everything.]
Abhi: Thik hai, mat bata. Par tu thik toh hai? Tujhe achanak chakkar aane lage aur behosh bhi ho gayi. [Ok, don't say. But are you fine? Suddenly you started feeling dizzy and even fainted.]
Avu: Mai aise hi gayab ho gayi bina koyi wajah bataye, aapse chupti rahi itne din, phir bhi aap mujhse naaraz nahi ho? [I disappeared just like that without giving any reason, kept hiding from you, yet why are you worried so much?]
