Jonah was having a great time with Kelly, but it was time for them to part ways. They'd had their hands laced together the entire time they'd been walking back to Kelly's, and now they were at the apartment building.
They went to let go, but somehow their pinkies stayed linked. Neither of them were ready for their time together to end.
Jonah offered to walk her to the door of her apartment, but they didn't move their hands. They kept their pinkies linked and walked, got on the elevator, walked, and then they were at her apartment.
They still didn't want to let go, but Kelly finally pulled her hand away and brought Jonah into a kiss. Before he knew it, the door was closed and she was gone, and he was just staring at the door.
