It was Jonah's first day back living in Amy's house after their breakup, and.. it was a really nice adjustment. He had his belongings with him as Amy opened the door, and everything in his heart fell into place.
He walked inside and set down his bag in Amy's room. As soon as he turned around, Amy leaned up to peck his lips.
"Welcome back, Jonah. We missed you."
Jonah smiled at her. There were still things to work out, but for now, it felt really nice being back home.
