Amy wasn't always an affectionate person. At least, not romantically. But as she looked at herself, in a wedding dress for the second time in her life, with her best friend in the room with her.
Deep down, she was kind of panicking a little bit. She knew she had nothing to worry about really. She was about to marry the love of her life, with everyone she loved there to support her.
Keeping her in cheek was Dina. Dina saw her shoulders getting a bit tense, so she walked over and firmly gripped both hands in hers, "Amy, you look terrified."
Amy looked down, "I know. I shouldn't be. It's not even anything big other than... getting married is a little scary."
Dina squeezed her hands, "Amy. You are ready for this. I know it."
Amy smiled, squeezing back, "You're right. I am ready." Somehow Dina's confidence never failed to make Amy feel better. She loosened up a little bit, "I've just gotta finish my makeup."
Dina let go of her hands, muttering something along the lines of, "Oh. Yeah you do."
Amy sighed. Lovely Dina.
