Amy stared forward at Jonah while he talked about the gender reveal, thinking about the words Dina had said to her.
"You can always find a reason not to do something. And if there's stuff you wanna do, do that stuff."
She'd been thinking about it since she heard it. There was a lot she wanted to do. But the thing screaming at her to do the most was to kiss Jonah. So that's what she did.
She stepped forward into his space and pressed her lips to his, feeling him brush his hand across her cheek.
She saw Jonah wanting to speak after she pulled away, but she needed to say something first, "I'm pregnant."
