Mateo was in a bad mood while he was waiting for Eric to pick him up. It was hard to be in a good mood when fighting with his best friend. He just didn't understand why Cheyenne couldn't see his point of view.
His phone started ringing, and there was his boyfriend's face, signaling to him he was probably there. He usually would answer, but instead, he just went outside and found his car.
"How was your day?" Eric seemed to be in a good mood, but he kind of faltered when he saw Mateo's face, "You okay?"
He didn't respond right away, instead taking Eric's face and kissing him.
He figured it wasn't really fair to take his frustrations out on him, but he needed an outlet right about now, so he decided this was the best option. A kiss wouldn't hurt Eric's feelings or start an argument between them because of something Eric wasn't even involved in.
After he pulled away, he put on his seatbelt and started talking.
