Amy knew it was a bad idea to bring the kids to Worlds of Fun.  It wasn't the worst idea because of the place only, but also because of the week they agreed on.  It was incredibly busy, and it didn't help that Parker and Carter didn't mind at all, and were trying to just go to ride the rides.

Amy tightened her grip on both kids' hands, "Hey!  It's too crowded for you to be running off.  Don't let go of my hands, understand?  We need to wait for dad."

Parker at this point was nine, and he was frustrated by that rule, "But mom-!"

Amy shook her head, "No, Parker, I need to make sure you're safe, so I need you to stay with me."

He knew his mom was stubborn, so he gave in, but he was still a bit upset he couldn't run to the rides.

Soon Jonah was back, and he took over walking with Carter.  Since he was younger, only five, he wasn't as comfortable with the rides, so he was going to ride the smaller rides with Jonah while Parker and Amy went for more intense ones.  Still not too bad, but more intense.
