"You're dating Amy's brother?!"
Cheyenne and Mateo were alone at the vision center, so he figured that it was a good enough time to tell her about his new relationship.
"Shut up! Yes, we're dating. But you're the first person I've told." Mateo loved having someone to tell secrets to.
Cheyenne shrugged, "Why does it need to be a secret, anyway? It's not like you can get in trouble for dating him."
Mateo sighed, "Well no, but Amy doesn't actually know we're dating. We figured it'd be a good idea to keep it secret from her just in case we don't work out. It's all really new, and she was insane when she was trying to set us up."
Cheyenne nodded, "That makes sense. Well I can keep your secret, I guess."
"Do you swear?" Mateo grabbed her arm to be sure he had her attention still.
Cheyenne put her pinky up, "I pinky swear, I won't tell anyone."
Mateo raised a brow and rolled his eyes, but he linked pinkies with her anyway, "Good. If Amy finds out I'll never hear the end of it."
