“Rumor of divine interference has been noted after the battle, though nothing was observed, there is no doubt that there’s a spacial barrier around the city. Whether it is to keep them out or to keep us contained…” A cyclops started, as Claremont and Iris exchanged glances. “It is ours, the forces of our enemy remain outside its reach, too nyafriad to return to nyeir kingdoms, but are stuck between nyeir own people and ours.” Rue cut the cyclops off. “I still have questions regarding the cat-human, their kind are allied with our enemy, yet here we stand with one in our midst.” an ogre in the offsection of the conference hall. “Rue is on our side, though it is difficult to tell if they will or will not do the same as when first meeting my father if treated as hostile,  needless to say, Rue uses their speed and size as advantages in certain scenarios” Eikapf stated, earning a laugh from an old but solidly built ogre in the central seat. “Indeed, I do not believe my old guard have forgiven them for that.” The ogre laughed. “But, now is not the time for worrying about the past or being sentimental. Now is the time to figure out why a deity favors us and to decide if we finally launch a counterattack.” He continued. Once more Iris and Claremont looked at each other. “Iris, Claremont, what happened the other day?” Parly asked the two as the group left the convention hall, Einkapf nodding their head in agreement of the question. “And what gave nyou the impression nyat nyey know more nyen nyey are letting on, perhaps nyey were looking to each other trying to find answers.” Rue pined, dropping from above. “I really wish you’d quit finding ways into the rafters, but perhaps you are right, perhaps too much was looked into a couple wayward glances.” Parly added. “Perhaps though y’all would join me for dinner tonight?” Parly continued, more demanding than asking.
