“How are you holding up?” Oathbreaker asked, now back to back with Einkapf. “Getting a little tired, this guy’s got a lot of power to his swings.” Einkapf replied. “On the count of three, one, two..” Oathbreaker said switching enemy’s with Einkapf fending off the heavy blow with musically chiming grace. “Why do these fools have to be so tall, it’s almost as infuriating as them thinking that they could attack us.” Parly muttered, using quite a few spell cards to help Iris hold the place they were standing. “It’s not entirely their height that’s causing issues, you know that right.” Iris replied. “You, you dare to side with these infernal beings?! Fine, then you shall perish with them.” Ron said, eye to eye with Oathbreaker. “And same to you, I thought you dead after that massacre at Elra’s, yet here you are on the opposing side of this battle. How time can change people.” Oathbreaker replied, parrying Ron’s blow. “And what would you know of that incident…” Ron began. “I was there, you idiot. Ask Rachel, she knows.” Oathbreaker finished. “Impossible, Rue died in that forest, they burned with the dryads.” Ron said, adding more force to his blows. “Is that what you were told? You really trusted the people who killed your friend to tell you the truth? Are you really that dumb, Ron?” Oathbreaker shot back, digging her heels into the ground to block his blows. “Never mind, if you’re here now, then you must be stupid, never taking time to find out if old friends were still around. If you had just taken the time to return to that old place, you’d find the same golem that she made back then, maintained by an old friend, but you never did. They’ve corrupted you, turned that man that I once knew into a monster without compassion for those held dear.” Oathbreaker added. A look of hatred filled Ron’s face, quickly replaced by a hurt look. “They have Rachel, Dere and I have no choice but to serve them. I apologize, old friend.” Ron said, sadness tinging his voice. “We can change that.” Oathbreaker said simply, sheathing her daggers.
