“Ugh, it makes me so uncomfortable at how much you guys look like humans.” Einkapf muttered, looking around at the group. “That’s the point, let’s hope it doesn’t rain, yes?” Oathbreaker sang. “Come, let me show some of my favorite places,” Oathbreaker began. “Plus, if it looks like I’m showing you around, it’ll draw less suspicion of five humans entering a human town with a fox person.” She continued in a lower tone. “Are all of her kind so airheaded and cautious?” Einkapf asked quietly. Parly elbowed them then nodded towards Oathbreaker, who had turned her head to listen in. “Oh come on, there was no harm done, to answer your question, we are cautious because of our fox side, foxes are naturally cautious and intelligent, anyways, here is the best place to find the local food stalls, a lot better than the pompous food stall owners on the other side of town.” Oathbreaker said, pointing down the bazar. “I’d recommend buying this.” She continued, pointing out a strange desert stall at the front of bazar, tossing each of them a small pouch of change. “I figured you’d be hungry and without change, so here, treats are on me.” “No offense, but that’s not what we’re here for.” Parly replied, holding the pouch of change carefully. “You seem smart, but you probably shouldn’t forfeit a fox person’s gift to buy you something…” Oathbreaker said darkly, laughing as she watched the five go up to the stand. “Why do you even bother with the stalls on this end of town, the good stuff is on the other side of town.” A voice said from behind Oathbreaker. “To answer your question,” Oathbreaker began turning around. “I prefer eating here because it lacks your bazar’s pompous attitude towards visitors. Plus, besides the good costumer service, you could learn to make the simple food delightful and not just the delicacies.” She continued, watching as the man in rich colors virtually flattened himself to the ground. Standing up and dusting himself off, the man glared at Oathbreaker. “I don’t care who or what you are, you’ve made a major mistake insulting my name like that.” The man said, turning to go away. “Interesting, perhaps you can be useful in another way besides making food for my guests.” Oathbreaker said, dangling a coin pouch from her finger. “What would that be?” He asked. “My friends would like to join the church of golden blessings, do you know where they might be able to?” Oathbreaker said, swinging the pouch. “Only that measly bit of information? I’ll do you one better, the conversion center is just up there, I can get you in with the chief priest.” He replied. “Very well, since I’m feeling generous.” Oathbreaker said, tossing the man the coin pouch, then dug out a couple platinum coins engraved with effigies of foxes and tossing them to him. “Platinum fox coins, are you sure you’re not being generous?” He asked. “Well if you believe I have made a mistake, I can just take them back.” Oathbreaker replied. “No, no, no mistake has been made, I wish your friends luck with their conversion.” He said, scurrying towards the conversion center as fast as he could. “Well you sure made an impression on him.” Einkapf muttered. “It was nothing, we now have access to at least part of what you were looking for.” Oathbreaker said. “You may want to finish that here, I’ll be right back.” Oathbreaker said, walking into the building.
