“We found Dere, where are the others?” Oathbreaker said as Iris landed next to her, in a thicket not to far from here, I can lead you on foot.” Iris responded, walking in that direction. “Come on, leave the babbling mess, death by the undead is as he deserves.” Rachel said coldly, now fully recovered. “Still better than he deserves, but I can understand, I do not like killing enemies this pitiful.” Ron said, finishing the knots binding Dere. “Hey Krom, where are the others?” Iris said as the group made it to the outside of the thicket. Krom shook his head spread his arms in a defensive position. “Rachel, Ron, we need you two in here please, Iris, Oathbreaker, please, for your own sanity, stay out of the thicket for now.” Einkapf said, walking out of the thicket, hands stained red with blood. “Are you okay?” Iris asked, hugging Einkapf. “It’s not mine, Rachel, Ron, now?!” Einkapf said, uncomfortably hugging Iris. Ron and Rachel walked into the thicket and saw Parly sitting next to a figure on the ground. Parly looked up, and several glowing orbs appeared, revealing the blood soaked ground, Parly’s bloodshot eyes, and the figure in the center of the clearing. “Come, we have not much time, Einkapf and I managed to temporarily stop the bleeding, but she has lost a lot. Parly said, waving at the two. “I told you it would be more beneficial to get rid of him.” Ron said. “No, death is too good for him, endlessly serving creatures who want to destroy the human race is a much fitting punishment, what do you wish us to do Parly?” Rachel said. “The blade needs to be removed, then there needs to be a healing solution rubbed into the wound. How comfortable are you with using magic to have your vision enter her chest cavity to see if her heart was punctured?” Parly asked, looking between the two. “Rachel, if you would allow me a bit of your magic for a bit, I’ll call for you when it is determined the dagger can be removed.” Ron asked, his eyes closing as the spell took over. “Is everything alright in there?” Oathbreaker asked as Rachel walked out. “Perhaps, Iris, Oathbreaker, do you know the ingredients of Parly’s healing salve?” Rachel said. “Yes, I know them, is that the part you want us to play?” Iris replied. “Yes, if you could find ingredients for a stretcher as well, that would be helpful.” Rachel said. “I’ll go with you two, I need some time away from this place.” Einkapf said solemnly. “Rachel, come back into the thicket please.” Claremont said from just barely inside the thicket. “The blade can be safely removed. What’s the status on the healing salve?” Parly asked, their eyes, if anything, were more bloodshot then before. “It’s being ground together as we speak. Einkapf, Iris and Oathbreaker are gathering materials for a stretcher so we can get her out of here.” Rachel replied. The dryad guide walked into the thicket with a bowl filled with a slimy mixture. Bowing slightly, she passed the bowl to Parly. “Ron, pull the blade from her chest as we’ve talked about. Rachel when the dagger is removed the seal on the wound will break, causing blood to come out, we must keep that at least partially at bay. Claremont…” Parly started. “I’ll apply the salve, I don’t wish to insult the draugher, but we dryads are experts at sealing wounds.” The dryad guide said, pulling a wooden needle and spool of thin string from the folds of her dress.
