“My father knows, he knows what you are, who you are.” Iris muttered, knelt in front of a shrine. “I apologize for not telling you sooner, he has yet to learn which of the deities you are, but he knows you are one, you should know this before he visits this place in the morn.” She continued, focussing her mental energy towards the deity she was talking to. Rue woke with a start, the king of the dragonkin was visiting the city today, if word reached his ears of the previous battle’s divine interference, he’d likely put two and two together, learning the true nature of the deity he knew already existed amongst the mortals of this city. But now was not the time to be concerned, if he was to truly show today, not dressing accordingly would lead to massive amounts of unwanted attention. Looking through the ceremonial clothing that was set out, Rue couldn’t help but notice a that every inch of the clothing was high end, stitched in intricate patterns simulating the space time continuum and although Rue expected it, they couldn’t help but be surprised that this was the clothing selected. Looking in a mirror Rue scowled, these clothes were masculine, yet would be filled better with a feminine body. Rue stared blankly as they watched their body shift, as the chest became bigger, and the tightness of the pants became looser. Sighing, Rue redid the buttons and tied parts of the clothing. “Perhaps the mortals in the processions today won’t notice.” Iris said, standing at the door gawking. “Nyour father will, as will most of nyour brethren, but hopefully no one else does.” Rue replied. “The tides of war are changing, your enemy knows your true nature, perhaps it’s time to let your allies know?” Iris asked as the two walked down the corridor. “The enemy knows only because it was necessary for nyeir master to know nyat nyeir actions are bringing out other deities to combat nyeir mistake. My allies would be in awe nyat a deity is in nyeir midst, I do not wish nyat upon myself or nyem.” Rue replied, shaking her head.
