“You two looked so great now! Al’ama, you even surpassed my toned body!” Tauseef exclaimed, as he narrowed his almond eyes while staring on the screen of his phone.
We are presently doing a video call while Mom and I were resting on the treadmill here in our gym at house.
Bukas ay babalik na ako sa Valle Vista kaya inilaan ko ang aking buong araw na kasama siya. Si Papa naman ay palaging abala sa kanyang trabaho at mga seminars sa labas ng bansa.
Hindi ko sinabi kay Mama ang ginawang pagpunta rito ni Miss Blaine at paghingi ng kapatawaran. I don't want to make her worry or to even think negativities. Gusto ko lang bigyan siya ng masayang buhay at wala ng iniisip na problema.
Labas siya sa kung ano man ginawa ng Ate ni Hielder sa akin. Most importantly, I wasn't hurt physically, that what matters more.
“Really hijo?” masayang iniangat ni Mama ang kanyang kaliwang kamay para ipakita ‘kuno’ ang kanyang malamang bicep.
I just shaked my head and laughed. “Yes Ma.. mas maganda ka pa sa mga models diyan! Right cous?”
Tumango-tango naman ang pamangkin niya at kumindat sa Tiya. “Oh yes Tita! You didn't look like your age. Hmm… I think you're just in mid-30’s.. as in po.. you looked so young like an older sister of Chian,” usal nito at ngumisi pa.
Kiming ngumiti lang si Mama. “Sus! Binobola niyo lang akong dalawa eh. I have a lot of wrinkles na.. even blemishes. Natatakot na nga ako kasi baka hahanap na si Tito mo ng mas bata.”
Nanlaki ang mata namin ni Tauseef dahil doon at napapailing na lamang kami.
“You didn't know how Papa missed you Ma. Remember, he surprised you in your birthday last week and then you went out of the country to travel to Europe, your favorite place. Now, tell me, yon ba ang maghahanap ng bago. He's head over heals in love with you,” litanya ko sa kanya para hindi na siya mag-isip ng kung anu-ano.
Nakita namin ang pagsilay ng munting ngiti sa kanyang labi. She blushed like a teenage girl. And I can't help but to hug and kissed her sweaty face. Sumandal ako sa kanyang balikat.
“Me and Papa loves you so much Ma.. so don't overthink, OK? You were the most beautiful woman in this planet. Believe me, I'm not a fan of lying.”
She caressed my cheeks and kissed ny head while whispering, “I love you too anak.. You and your father are my greatest treasure,”
“Oh you two are so lovely.. Kainggit kayo! Mom was not that sweet.. err.. she's y'know sometimes a tigress,” Tauseef muttered, his face crinkled.
Tumayo ito sa kanyang inuupuan kaya medyo naging magalaw din ang phone niya. We saw him walked down the stairs and went on a wide green lawn with some flowers around the corner. Dumiretso siya sa parang isang gazeebo at umupo.
Nagkatinginan kami ni Mama at napatayo nang sabay naming nakita ang pagtakbo ng isang batang lalaki patungo sa kanya. He has a small chef's like white hat on his head.
“Dada! Dada! Lewk! Llix fou..nd a lady bug! And.. it's so.. so big!” matinis na tawag sa kanya ng bata na may kulay brown na buhok. Sa tingin ko’y nasa dalawang taong gulang na ito.
“Oh my god! Mama.. looked at the boy. Please pinch me..if I'm wrong.. dang!” Hindi ko mapigilang mapatutop sa bibig nang tumambad sa camera ni Tauseef ang gwapong mukha ng bata.
From the almond-shaped big brown eyes, thick eyebrows, upturned nose, olive skin, and lips like Cupid's bow. Dang! What a perfect face for a kid.
“He.. looked like a younger version of Tauseef Ahmed Benjelloun..” Mom stated while gaping.
