Happy News 2

Larry's POV:

The following morning I woke up before Laurent and decided to make him breakfast in bed.

Last night every time I moved slightly Laurent would take that opportunity to make love to me again.

I'm not sure why I'm the one taht woke up before him but I don't mind he neefs the rest. Besides last night we never talked about what he thinks of me carrying our pups this early in our marriage.

I know he's happy because I heard him whisper out a couple of times in his sleep that he loved us. The words that he used were heartwarming and lovely.

So even though we have yet to talk about them I knew without a doubt he was happy we were having pups.

'Mate loves pups'. Blaze said happily. I agreed wholeheartedly with him. As I gathered the items I was plan on making Laurent for breakfast.

About two hours later I was done cooking and plating. Grabbing a bottle of orange juice, water and a cup of coffee I place everything on a serving tray that I found in the cupboard and began walking up the stairs to our room.

Thank the Moon Goddess I left the door opened a little that way I could just push it open with my foot. Once inside I noticed Laurent wasn't in bed I placed the tray down and walked towards the bathroom even though I didn't hear the water running.

Finding the bathroom empty I lwft our room following his scent towards the back door where I found him and Max arguing whispering harshly. Most likely trying not to let me hear them argue.

I stood at the back door listening to rhem for a few before I decided to interrupt them. Blaze could hear everything even in their whispering  growled voices.

And Blaze was not happy hearing what Max had said. I walked up behind Lau and wrapped my arms around his waist laying my head on his back his body stiffened but quickly relaxed in my embrace.

I peeked around Laurent at Max. Instantly feeling argry at the scowl that it etched across his facing looking between Laurent and I.

'Why is he scowling at our mate?' Blaze growled out at me. "Good question". I answered him in my head.

"Laurent everything okay?" I asked him through our mate-link.

'Everything is and will be just.' Laurent answered back sounding annoyed.

Instead of feeling better I faced Max and asked him.

"What do you want?" "Why are you here?" I asked waiting for his reply which he took a while to answer me causing Laurent to growl out a groan of annoyance.

'I am here to take you back to our pack to meet your family.' Max said earning an angry growl from Laurent that sounded more like Beast.

I could feel Beast fighting to gain control over Laurent and shift. Blaze was trying to do the same. If Laurent and I were not holding each other we most likely would have shifted into our very angry wolves. Well Laurent would have even thou Blaze wants to shift he won't in fear it'll hurt our pups.

'I am not foing any where with you and if and I do mean IF I still have family out there they can come to my pack to meet me properly not sneaking around our territory or our house.' I toldhis staring him the eyes so he knew that I waa not one to mess with.

'They do not truat this territory.' He said sounding tried. I just shrugged my shoulders at him.

"They don't like this territory, why"? Laurent or should I say Beast asked sounded pi$$ed.

'I do not know.' He simply answer like that was a real answer.

'Seriously they want me to leave my mate after just being returned to him from being wolfnapped for four long months'? 'Have they lost their minds'? 'Or is this a ploy to get me to leave my mate in hopes to capture me'? I asked him questions after question not really caring for his reply. They would have to take me forcefully because I do not plan on ever leaving my mates side ever again.

I let out a heavy sigh looked up at Laurent and told him loud enough for Max to hear me.

'I am hungry send him away (pointing at Max direction) I made food and by now I am sure it is cold.' I said. Laurent nodded and then looked at Max.

"This conversation is over do not come back to my territory without my permission or you will be punished." "You heard my mate he is not going anywhere with you, and if he's "family" wants to see him they seemed to know where to find him." Laurent/Beast gritted out at Maz.

I nodded grabbing Laurent's hand walking by his side as we walked Max out of the backyard before locking the fence and setting the alarm. I noticed that since the last time I was here Laurent had added a lot more security.

Once we made it back inside I had to ask why or actually how Max made inside the gate if Laurent had all this security.

'Laurent how did Max get inside the gate with all the security around?' I asked. "My grandfather brought him here with my permission." He said. I nodded understanding it now.

Laurent had me sit on the island chair as he went upstairs to retrieve our breakfast. I told him I would but he refused me saying that I have been on my feet way too long.

I smile at his gentleness. My mate truly is one of a kind...Loving, caring, and so damn sexy. I chuckled at the last thought.

'Yes mate is really, really sexy'. Blaze said purring out in my head dreamily. I nodded in my head agreeing with him.

Yes Laurent's body is sexy but that's not what draws me to him, it's his kindness and his big heart. Of course his body is a piece of art that I do not mind staring at all day long.

To have his beautifully sculptured arms wrapped around me holding me close to his equally strong chest.
