Larry's POV:

I froze at the scene in front of me.

Werewolves.

Vampires.

Fairies.

And

Witches.

Fighting and tearing each other apart.

The smell of blood was almost to much to handle, but I pulled myself together and mind-linked the pack and the other supernatural creatures that had vowed to help fight along side us during this war.

'Are the newly born pup's, their mother's and the elders in the safe house'. I asked. 'Yes Luna'. Came my pack's reply. 'Good get six warriors to guard the guards that are already guarding the safe house'. I demanded. 'Yes Luna'. Came their reply again. I nodded happily as I continued to walk towards the center of the fight.

I couldn't understand why, but I felt the need to be near if not in the center of this war.

"Larry where are you"? I heard Laurent link me.

'Near the center of the forest'. I told him.

"Why"? Was his question. At first I was confused but brushed it off as Laurent just asking me a question.

'I do not know'. 'But I'm feeling as though I am being pulled out here'. I told him honestly.

"Do not go by yourself". "Take a guard with you". "I'll be there as soon as I can". Laurent gritted out sternly.

'I cannot wait'. I told him as I continued to walk towards the middle of the forest.

Sparks shot through the air like lightening. I paused momentarily as I watched the scene in front of me.

King Egon is fighting two wolves and a half witch. The fighting it like being played out in slow motion. I watched as the larger of the two wolves ran up behind Egon as the smaller one and the witch cornered him from the front. I hadn't realized I was walking towards Egon as I watched the fighting between him and the three supernatural creatures.

I gasped surprised as I seen more sparks like lightening running through the forest. Not sure where it is coming from or from whom, and I know I need to find out, but right now I need to help King Egon.

'Egon'. I called out to him. I haven't seen him since before I left to Laurent's house. I wasn't sure what side of the war he was on. Yes he is fighting three creatures, but that could be just a trap.

'No'. I heard Egon say ripping the mouth apart of the smaller wolf.

I heard a gut wrenching cream, followed by a withering wolf, shift back into it's human counterpart.

'I'm going to kill you'. The now human man gritted out running at Egon with all his force. 'No'. I heard Egon say again, but instead of ripping the man's mouth apart like he did the wolf. He simply grabbed the man's chest where his heart is a ripped it out of his chest. I gasped at the scene, but couldn't look away.

'Why'? The half witch asked through her tears. I waited for Egon to answer her, but instead he just shrugged his shoulders and walked away like nothing happened.

'YOU HAVE TO TELL ME WHY'! She yelled at Egon. He ignored her and continued on walking, stopping only long enough to rip the heart out of the creatures that ran near him.

'What was that for'? The witch asked. She seemed to be dazed and even confused. And if it was any other day I would offer to help her, but today is not that day. I sighed and continued to walk towards the center of the forest.

'This is all your fault'. I heard behind me but ignored it. That was until I felt as though my body was set on fire. I heard Blaze whimpering in my head and a voice I did not recognize telling me to shift.

'Shift'? I asked myself.

'Larry think of me and shift's. I heard Phoenix voice this time. I nodded and thought of her enchanting fiery red flames and shifted quickly. I heard a gasp before a scream. I tried to focus on the screams but couldn't find the source.

'You thought it would be a good idea to come to my pack, destroy it and then what, take over or just continue your destruction'? Phoenix gritted out shooting what looked like balls of flames at the witch.

'She was the one screaming'. I heard Blaze say. I nodded agreeing with him. That made sense, since I shifted into Phoenix I no longer feel as though I am on fire. The witch must have curse me with flames hoping I would burn, unfortunately for her I am a Phoenix.

'Answer me'. Phoenix gritted out angrily.

'I, I am here because of my mother'. I heard the trembling voice of the witch. I heard Phoenix scoff but asked the question that I wanted to know.

'Who is your mother'? Phoenix asked a little calmer now.

'Savannah'. The witch said. I heard a growl so powerful it cracked the nearby trees and shook the ground. I waited for the powerful wolf that released that growl but no wolf came forward. A thought popped in my head.

'Blaze'. 'Yes'. He answered me before I had a chance to ask him my question. If course being a part of me he already knew what I was going to ask.

'Yes it was me'. Blaze said.

'What are you'. I heard the witch ask trembling voice cracking as she asked. I smiled not answering her.

'What shall we do with her Larry'? I heard Phoenix ask me. I shrugged my shoulders, truly I didn't know what to do with the witch.

'I'll call a guard and have her escorted to the cells. Phoenix said. I nodded my head and sat back watching Phoenix throw fire ball after fire ball towards different supernatural creatures.

Reaching the center of the forest, my stomach churned and I wanted to throw up. The overwhelming smell blood and death was excruciatingly overpowering.

'Finally'. I heard someone say.

'Who are you'? I asked as I moved my head from side to side trying to find the source of the voice.

'You know who I am'. Came the reply. As I watched a very petite woman walking towards us through the crowd of the creatures surrounding her.

I gasped at her youth. She didn't look like a century or two old dark witch. She barely looked a day over twenty-five.

'Nice to finally meet you wolf'. The familiar voice said. Instant fear over took my senses. I felt closed in and chained up to the walk, just like I was when I was just a pup. The blood in my veins began to run freezing cold and I felt dizzy.

Phoenix wasn't saying anything or reacting. Out of nowhere I heard another voice.

'Let me take over'. Another voice inside of me said before everything went black.
