All as One

Alaric/Beast POV:

I'm not sure how I shifted into Beast without feeling the shift.

I'm not sure if I am just Beast's body and my mind.

I'm sure if when I locked Laurent up if that is how I became both Beast and myself.

'Alaric/Beast, or whomever you are'. 'We need to talk to Larry and Meridia'. 'Maybe they can help us figure out how you two or three became one'. I heard Jackson say somewhere in the cell we have been standing in since I somehow became Beast.

'We are one'. I heard Beast say in my voice, shocking me.

'What do you mean, we are one'? I asked.

'Meridia, was being use as a conduit to try and capture Laurent and erase his memory, so that when the war began Laurent would be on the witches side'. Beast said.

'How did they catch Meridia'? I asked him.

'There is a spy in our pack'. He said calmly.

'Who'? I asked shocked at his words.

'Laurent was working on that, before the dark witches shadow showed up and he left the pack trying to track her down'. He answered.

I remember that day, everyone and everything was in chaos.

'Has he figured out since he returned'? I asked hoping Laurent figured something out. I felt him nod.

'Let's talk to Meridia'. 'Afterwards I'll answer any other questions you have'. 'One thing though, we cannot tell Larry'. He said.

'Why'? I asked him confused.

'We must keep mate safe'. He said flatly.

'Keep Laurent hidden, but change our scent to Laurent's so no one will know we are not him'. Beast said. I nodded my head agreeing with him. I was already planning on keeping Laurent locked up until we, I can figure out everything that has happened and how long it has been happening.

'I will keep Laurent locked up'. 'I will also copy his scent so no one knows it's us on the surface and not him'. 'But why can't we tell Larry'? I explained and then asked him.

'Phoenix will destroy everything as soon as we tell Larry, before the pending war'. Beast said with finality. I agree with him about Phoenix, my love will destroy everything when she is angry.

'Jackson we need to keep Larry and our pup's even more safe than before'. 'We also cannot tell Larry, Beast is back until we find the spy'. Both Beast and I told him sternly. We watched ss he nodded his head agreeing with us.

'Alaric/Beast, um how are we going to hide Beast from Larry when you are walking around as Beast'? Jackson asked.

'Good question'. I thought to myself, and before I had a chance to ask Beast, Beast answered his question.

'I will shift back into Laurent as Alaric'. 'Just until we get the answers we need'. 'I can feel something coming, and coming at us fast'. Beast explained. I nodded my head agreeing to what Beast just said. I felt as though something or someone was heading our way, but wasn't exactly what.

'I felt it too'. I heard Jackson say.

'Let's go'. Beast said, shifting back into Laurent.

'Remember Alaric mask our scent'. Beast with finality. I nodded my head and did as he said.

Jackson and I walked back towards the pack hospital to go and talk with Meridia. When we arrived at her room a male-wolf I did not recognize walked out of her room.

'Help'. I heard Meridia whisper out as soon as I opened her door.

'Jackson that male-wolf catch him'. I gritted out demandingly.

Without taking my eyes off of Jackson who managed to wrestle down the male-wolf I back into Meridia's room.

Jackson dragged the male-wolf, kicking and growling like a pup who lost his favorite toy into Meridia's room. Once we were fully inside I shut the door behind us, standing in front of it so that the male-wolf could not escape.

'Well Mr. wolf'. 'Why were you in this room'? I asked him, but didn't wait for a reply before asking him another question.
'And why did my friend ask for help'? I asked gritting out the last part.

'Al, Alpha Laurent, you are the one that asked me to visit her'. The male-wolf whispered.

'Me'? I asked surprised.

'Yes'. Was his simple reply.

'When did I ask you that'? I asked him confused. I had been in the cells with Jackson and Beast all day and I do not remember Laurent meeting with this male-wolf at any time in the last couple of days.

'You sent Savannah to tell me'. He whispered looking over his shoulder at Jackson who is comforting a visible shaken Meridia.

'Alpha Laurent, you said not to let any pack member see me and if they did to just tell them, you sent me to see how the sage girl was doing.

'Well now you're caught by not just me, but also Queen Jackson'. I told him trying to stay calm.

'You said that we have King Egon on our side and soon we will have Queen Jackson too'. The male-wolf said quietly.

I kept quiet trying to understand what this male-wolf meant.

'See Larry knew something was wrong with that she-wolf'. I heard Beast whisper. I nodded my head without letting the male-wolf know I was talking to Beast.

Larry has never liked the she-wolf ever since she had arrived here, which is weird because Larry is friendly with everyone, he just chooses to be by his self. I thought to myself.

'Jackson'. I called out.

'Get the pack doctor'. 'I want Meridia out of here'. I said rudely, trying to show this male-wolf I was on his side. But secretly I already linked him (thank you Larry/Phoenix) and told him what this wolf had just said, and how I was going to handle all this.

'Yes Alpha Laurent'. Jackson said sounding annoyed, which is what I wanted.

All three of us agreed that I needed to continue to act like 'Laurent', to track down the other wolves and supernatural creatures that is after this pack.

'Laurent has been playing stupid and pretending to lose his memory in order to find out who it what is all after our pack and Larry'. Beast said sadly.

I knew deep down Laurent would never turn his back on Larry, their pup's or this pack. I'm just glad Beast was able to keep Laurent's memories intact. Help's in hiding Laurent from everyone right now. I sighed inward as soon as Jackson came back with the pack doctor.

'Alpha Laurent, how many I help you'? Jeremiah my personal pack doctor asked. I had already linked my doctor and explained everything to him, before he came in here. I didn't want him to act as though I wasn't the Laurent this male-wolf believes me to be.

'As I had told Queen Jackson'. I spat out then continued. 'I want that, that sage girl out of here'. I gritted. Guilt ran through my heart as I heard Meridia gasp. I forgot I had to tell Jackson to explain to her what was happening.

'Sh*t'. I mumbled silently.

'Jackson please explain to Meridia'. I linked him, cutting the link before the male-wolf can catch on. I watched as Jackson nodded his head and walked out the hospital room with Meridia and my doctor following him.

'Fianlly'. I said getting up and heading towards Laurent's office.

'Alpha Laurent, shall I get Savannah for you'? The male-wolf asked. I nodded my head not really interested in answering him.

I want answers and I want them now. But I have to be careful, because if that damn she-wolf figures out who I truly am it'll be bad for everyone in this pack, not Just Larry and our pup's.
