Unexplained Fear pt.2

*This will be a continued from Jackson's POV... Then it will be from Miguel's POV:*

Jackson's POV:

As soon as Egon and I arrived at the packhouse I knew something was was wrong instantly. My fear increased exponentially, Egon must have felt my fear because he grabbed my hand and squeezed it gently.

'Jackson don't let your fear overpower you'. 'You need a clear head to find out why you are feeling the way you have been'. Egon told me calmly. I nodded my head and we walked hand in hand into the packhouse to find two visiting Alpha's fist fighting in the entertainment room, while the pack members are trying to calm them down.

I walked near the two fighting Alpha's and asked one of the pack members where Laurent was and why he isn't stopping the fighting? His answer spiked my fear even more.

'Alpha Laurent has been locked up in his room since he came home'. The pack member said calmly.

'What do you mean Laurent is locked in his room'? 'When was the last time any of you have seen your Alpha's? I asked angrily shaking the packhouse stopping the two fighting Alpha's to stop fighting immediately.

'Why in the HELL are you two fighting'? 'You are visiting someone else's pack and this is how you act'? I all but yelled at them.

'I'm sorry Queen Jackson'. 'This Alpha here has been trying to make the moves on Alpha Laurent, he said that Alpha Laurent was forced to marry that rogue and that he is Alpha Laurent's true mate'. 'I have spent three weeks with Alpha Laurent and I know what this Alpha is saying is not true'. The Alpha said. I stood in front of him trying to understand what he had just said. After taking in his words and deciphered then I realized he is Alpha Diondre and he was the one that Laurent had brought back when they were looking for the dark witch.

'Alpha Diondre, when was the last time you saw Laurent'? I asked him trying to calm myself down.

'The day he came, which was I think what two days ago'? 'He went down to the dungeons and spoke to the rogues who tried to take that she-wolf's pup's. He explained. I nodded my head trying to understand what's going on. That was the day my fear began to start and as the day went on my fear kept increasing.

'Where is Beta Rubix'? I asked him.

'He is with his mate'. Alpha Diondre said.

I remember now. That she-wolf is Beta Rubix mate, which means the pup is theirs. I understand why he is not with Alpha Laurent or stopping the two Alpha's from fighting.

'I'm going to check on Alpha Laurent'. 'Please try and stop the fighting'. I told, him walking away. As I walked towards Laurent and Larry's room I heard Egon talking to me. 'Jackson I'm going to stay here to make sure nothing else happens'. Egon said, kissing my lips. I nodded my head agreeing with him and continued to walk towards the Alpha's floor.

As soon as I reached Laurent's door I felt uncomfortable fear and rushing emotions coming from the room. Emotions that even I can't understand, why he's feeling the way he is. When he left the house he was nervous but fine.

I opened the bedroom door without knocking and the sight in front of my caused my non exciting heart to skip a beat. I called out to Egon and within seconds he showed up and his shocked face confirmed what I was seeing was not an illusion.

Miguel's POV:

I suddenly felt a rush of emotions from my Luna, I was outside with Maria and Alpha Laurent and Luna Larry's pup's when an unexplained amount of emotions ran through my body like a freight train.

Unable to understand why I am feeling the unexplained emotions and fear, I asked Maria to watch the pup's real quick so I can go check on Larry real quick.

With every step I took, the emotions increased rapidly. I made it to the back door just in time to catch my Luna from hitting his head as he fell unconscious.

I yelled out his name but he didn't answer me. I called Maria and told her to call the packhouse and ask for either the Alpha or Beta.

I carried my Luna into the house and laid him on the couch. I ran into the kitchen to get a cool wet wash cloth.

'Miguel, no one is answering'. Maria ran into the house to tell me.

'Maria where are the pup's'? I asked her, rushing out of the house as fast as I could.

'I'm sorry Miguel I was in a panic because no one is answering the packhouse phone'. She said following me outside.

'It's okay'. I told her panicking.

'Please be safe'. I silently prayed. As soon as I reached the back door I heard crying, I knew instantly it was Lia. My heart sank at the sight in front of me. There was about a dozen rogue wolves crawling all over the back yard trying to get at the pup's.

'Lovely'. I whispered. She was using her barrier to protect her siblings from being captured by the wolf's.

I called Queen Jackson's cell phone and told him what was happening. Within seconds King Egon showed up and wiped out the rogues before any of them could take any of the pup's.

'King Egon'. 'Something is wrong with Luna Larry's. I rushed out.

'Jackson is with him right now'. He said.

'How did they past the barrier'? I asked him.

I watched as he shook his head before he answered.

'I do not know Miguel, I do not know'. He said sadly.

King Egon, Maria, and I gathered the still crying pup's in our arms and carried them in the house where I left my Luna, to find Queen Jackson trying to wake Luna Larry up.

'Queen Jackson I don't know what happened '. I told him.

'I know Miguel it's okay'. 'Thank you for calling me'. 'We need to get the pup's and Larry back to the packhouse as soon as possible'. He said gathering Luna Larry in his arms walking towards the front door.

I noticed both he and King Egon are the only Royals that call Luna Larry just Larry. They must be really close. I thought as we followed him out the door.

King Egon, Maria and I followed, each of us carrying two pup's in our arms towards the van that is parked out front, while Queen Jackson carried Luna Larry.

Unanswered questions began running through my mind. So instead of allowing them to coming running unanswered I finally asked Queen Jackson the questions.

'Um Queen Jackson, how did the rogues get through the barrier'? I asked him.

'I think that is a question that will have to wait'. He said. But I asked another question hoping he would answer it.

'Why did I get a sudden serge of fear and uncontrollable emotions right before Luna Larry fell unconscious'? I asked him. I heard him sigh. I thought he wasn't going to answer that question either, but to my surprise he did

'Something unforseen happened to your Alpha'. He said.

'What do you mean by unforseen'? I asked him.

'We will continue this conversation once we get back to the packhouse'. He said, cutting off the conversation.

Again my mind began rerunning with unanswered questions.

'Please Moon Goddess, help us'. I prayed.
