Larry's POV:

It took a few hours to feed, change and get my pup's settled down. Everyone especially the King and Queen of the Vampires wanted to see them, and spend some time with them. Which I didn't mind.

After some time my pup's were getting sleepy and after rechanging them, I was able to get them back to sleep with the help of Laurent and Jackson.

I smiled at the two strong men cuddling up with six pup's, putting them to sleep. Both Laurent and Jackson truly adore our pup's.

'Queen Jackson'. I called out to him to gain his attention. He answered with a humm and a nod.

'I would like to finish discussing what we were talking about in the banquet hall'. I told him. Earning me another humm from him.

'I'll be in the living room, in my room waiting for you and your husband'. I told him walking out of the nursery and walking into my room. Laurent walked in shortly after I did and wrapped me in his arms. I felt safe and loved whenever I was in his arms.

"What's wrong my Luna"? Laurent asked me, earning a sigh from me. My shoulders sagged and my breathing was a little harsher than it needed to be.

"Larry what's wrong". Laurent asked me more sternly. I heaved another sigh before answering him.

'What if King Egon and Queen Jackson don't want to take our pup's if something happens to us'? I asked him nervously. It's been bothering me since it was brought up and Jackson hadn't answered me yet.

"My love, you know Queen Jackson love's our pup's and he would do anything for then'. 'I'm sure the question just threw him off a little'. Laurent said. I nodded not knowing what to say. May be he was right, may be Jackson just hasn't had time to process the request, after all as soon as he was asked I excused myself to feed and change my pup's. I signed again, walking towards the small couch in the living room waiting for The King and Queen to arrive.

I was becoming more and more nervous as the seconds turned into minutes, and those minutes turned into hours I began to feel defeated.

I began to feel upset, especially after Laurent left me alone in our room. Blaze tried to cheer me up with his positivity, but it wasn't working. The more he tried, the more I felt as though all the precautions I took to protect my pup's was all in vein. I sighed over and over again trying to stay positive.

The cries of my pup's brought me out of my depressive thoughts. I thanked the Moon Goddess for their cries, not because they were crying but because of their cries that brought me out of my unwanted thoughts.

After clearing my head I was welcomed with three men and my now happy pup's. I smiled seeing King Egon and Queen Jackson carrying four of my pup's and Laurent carrying our other two pup's.

'Why were they crying'? I asked out loud to no one in particular.

"Phoenix and Marcus woke up because they were hungry". "Of course that woke up the other four pup's". Laurent said smiling.

'That makes sense'. I said shrugging my shoulders. I still was feeling a little upset, but not as much as earlier. Especially after seeing my friends carrying my pup's happily in their arms.

'Larry'? I heard Jackson call me. I hummed in response not sure of my voice at the moment.

'Larry my beloved and I, have agreed to take care of all six of Laurent and your pup's if anything should happen to either one or both of you'. Jackson said happily. I smiled knowing my pup's will be in good hands, and well protected and loved if something ever happens to Laurent or I.

I pray to the Moon Goddess that nothing happens to either one of us, but with the dark witch after Phoenix, my pup's lives is not something I will jeopardize. That is why I am preparing for the worse.

'Thank you Queen Jackson, King Egon'. 'You do not know what this means to me, to both of us'. I said hugging both of them carefully, not wanting to squish my pup's that are still in their arms sleeping.

'Larry, Phoenix mentioned a dark witch that performed a ritual on you that tied Phoenix to a human'. 'Can you explain to us how they were able to get some of Phoenix's essence'? King Egon asked. I nodded my head and sat back down on the small couch.

'Back in my old pack before it was destroyed my family, well I stopped calling them family after they started torturing me'. 'Anyways like I was saying back in my old pack my mother's mother had a friend whom before I turned two was the sweetest lady, besides my mother that I had ever met'. 'Well one day my parents went to help a neighboring pack and that's when the torturing started'. 'I over heard my mother's mother and the lady talking about bringing out my hidden side'. 'At first I thought they meant my wolf, which confused me because I was a very young pup's. 'But after listening I over heard them talking about my flames, again I was confused because I was a wolf not a bird's. 'Anyways after getting scared that they were going to hurt me I ran, only to get caught by a human who brought me back to my pack, and stood by the lady as she tortured me, and yelled at me to bring out my flames'. 'I'm not sure how long the torture went on for but I know I was two when it started and I was almost five when it stopped'. 'The mean lady warned me the last time she tortured me that I would never find peace or experience love'. 'Blacked out and when I was woken up, my pack was being attacked by not only humans but also other supernatural creatures'. 'I fled into the woods, shifting into Blaze for the very first time'. I explained to him and the others in the room as I wiped the tears from my face.

'Are you telling me, that your family help a black witch torture you, in your own pack, and no one stopped then'? Jackson practically yelled, asked. I just nodded my head still trying to stop my tears.

'Larry no matter who comes after you, we will stand by you'. King Egon said.

'Thank you'. I said softly.

I closed my eyes trying to forget the images that just replayed in my mind. I hated reliving my puphood.

'Larry is there anything that you can remember about the dark witch to help us find her'? King Egon asked me. I nodded my head yes. I remember Phoenix telling me they use to be friends many years ago, before the witch had disappeared.

'Yes Phoenix and Scarlett actually use to be very close centuries ago, before the dark witch disappeared'. I told him.

'After Phoenix recovers she can tell you more'. 'I can only tell you that my mother's mother use to tell me that she lived right outside my pack's territory'. I told him.
