Dark Witch

Alaric's POV:

I blocked everyone and everything out including Laurent and Beast as soon as I heard her voice. I knew as soon as they figured out who it was Beast would most likely shift and search for her until he found her or he dropped from exhaustion, and I couldn't have that. I needed to find her as soon as possible.

'It is so nice to see you my love'. Scarlett said. I could hear the smile in her voice.

"What do you want Scarlett"? I all but yelled out.

'Now, now is that anyway to talk to an old friend'? She asked sarcastically. I sighed not wanting to play her stupid word game or any game with her.

'Just get to the reason why you're here Scarlett'. 'I don't have time for your sh*t'. I gritted out. I heard her laugh, full bend at the belly laugh.

'What the f**k is so funny'? I gritted out, I'm getting tired of this non answering from her.

'You already know what I want my love, and after I destroyed that puny wolf's pack I will have you'. She said happily.

I couldn't hold back anymore, I released my block on both Laurent and Beast and sat back as Beast shifted into his massive wolf.

'I will end your life for good'. Beast growled out, shaking the forest we were currently standing in, cracking the trees in half. I watched as other forest creatures ran from Beast's vicious growling as he stalked slowly towards Scarlett's shadow.

'Beast it's just her shadow, she's not really here'. I told him.

'I do not care, if I can get her scent I will be able to track her better'. He gritted out angrily. I nodded my head agreeing with him. True it's just her shadow but he can sense her essence and get her scent.

'Alpha'? I heard Rubix call out to me. Not turning my head I asked him what he needed.

"What"? I ask.

'Luna is on the phone'. I heard him whisper out.

"Sh*t" I gritted out.

I waited until Rubix walked to me handing me his phone. I took a deep breath and tried to calm myself before answering any questions Larry is about to ask.

"Hello my love". I said a little overly sweet trying to calm my rapid heart.

'What's going on'? 'And do not lie to me, because you know I could just read your thoughts '. He gritted out angrily. Taking another deep breath I answered him truthfully.

"The dark witch was here". "Well not here, here actually". "It was her shadow". "Beast picked up her essence and therefore her scent, so he can track her better'. I rushed out sighing afterwards.

'Is that why, I couldn't feel you a few minutes ago'? Larry practically yelled in the phone.

"Alaric blocked both Beast and I from the witch and his conversation, not because he hiding anything, but because he didn't want Beast to force shift and scare her off before I got some answers". I told him.

'We will discuss this and the conversation Alaric had with that witch as soon as you get back'. He all but commanded me. I chuckled at his anger, not because I found it funny, but because Larry has only ever shown his anger one other time and that was because of a she-wolf that tried everything she could to get my attention.

Larry sounds almost possessively jealous. I chuckled again with that thought.

'If you do not stop laughing at me, you will see another side of me, I only show my enemies '. He gritted out. I couldn't help but chuckle again.

"I'm sorry my love". "You just sound so possessive and jealous right now". I told him in between my chuckling.

Larry didn't reply with words, but by hanging up the phone.

'Great you just pi$$ed off our mate'. Beast gritted out.

"Oh, come on, you can't seriously be mad at me". I told him. "Larry has never showed his possessive side as strongly he is now". "He even sounds more jealous and possessive than when that she-wolf hung all over us". "Tell me you don't find our beautiful mate being jealous and possessive a little bit funny ". I told him chuckling once again.

I heard both Beast and Alaric chuckle at what I just said.

'You are right '. Beast said in between his chuckling. 'We need to go home now before our mate decides to kill us for laughing at him'. Beast said. I chuckled but nodded my head in agreement.

"Rubix". I called him. 'Yes Alpha's? He asked. "Tell the Royals and the other Alpha's and their Beta's that we are heading home". I told him. 'Yes Alpha Laurent'. Rubix said, leaving me to go relay my message.

I feel guilty leaving them to search for the dark witch, but my mate and pup's need me more. Besides it's not like I am the only Alpha out here looking for her.

'Alpha Laurent, can my mate and I join you, when you leave'? I heard an Alpha ask me. I turned to find not just Alpha Diondre but his Luna standing behind me waiting for my answer.

'They can go with us, but not to the pack until you talk to mate'. Beast said sternly.

After thinking about it, Beast is right. I can't take them to my pack until I explain to Larry where we found Savannah and make sure she is actually part of his old pack and not just someone that heard of his old pack.

"I can take you to your pack, but at this moment I cannot take you to my pack until I explain to my Luna and pack, besides from I hear from those that are protecting my pack and family my pack is being ran over right now from the surrounding Alpha's and their Luna's". "And my Luna is still standoffish when it comes to new wolves, so like I said I can take you to your pack until I speak to my Luna first". I told them the half truth.

"Luna Savannah I would also like to ask you more questions about the SnowHeart pack". "I might know someone from your old pack, but I want to make sure before I introduce you two". I told her. I watched as she nodded her head yes, willing to answer my questions.

'Alpha Laurent, the other Alpha's said they understand your need to get back home and said they have no problem to continue searching for the dark witch and the SnowHeart pack'. Rubix said. I nodded my head.

"Alpha Diondre I am leaving now if you still want a ride". I told him.
