Finally

Awake

Jackson's POV:

After Rain carried both Larry and the sage girl to the pack hospital, he gave me back control but only because I promised not to lock him up yet.

I fought internally with myself on whether that was a good idea or not, but after he explained to me how even during his blood lust, (which is something only newly created vampire's go through, except for Rain, he goes through it as though he was a newborn, whenever he is unleashed) he stopped and did what Larry had asked him to do without any fighting.

I agreed that he did what was asked of him without any arguments, so after much thought, I sighed and finally agreed that for now I will not lock him up if he can promise to stay hidden. After he had agreed to stay hidden till it was time for him to be called again, he gave me back control.

The pack doctor treated the sage girls wounds (I have got to remember her name)  he moved onto Larry, but before he could even start his examination Larry had woken up.

At first I thought it was the unknown entity that had hidden in his body, while he figured out who was syphoning off if Laurent. But his first words he told me after waking up I knew it was my friend.

'Why would you believe that you would lose us because of Rain'? He asked.

'Doctor can you make sure that your nurse takes extra care for that girl'? I asked the doctor in hopes he understood I wanted him to leave without asking him to.

'Of course Queen Jackson'. 'I will be back in a few'. He replied and left.

'Jackson I love you'. 'You are my best friend, my brother, my pup's Godpire'. (Godparent/vampire) 'Why would you think I would not know about your inner self'? Larry explained asked me.

I was stunned I didn't know what to say. It is true I thought he might have known from the first time I met him, but he never brought it up so I figured Rain was hidden well enough deep inside me that not even Larry's superior abilities picked him up. I guess I was wrong. I sighed heavily, still fearing I will my family. Sure Larry say's he excepts me but will Laurent?

'We all love you'. 'All if you even your inner you, you are trying hard to keep locked away'. Larry said. A smile slowly formed on my face.

'I'm sorry Larry'. I told him softly.

'Jackson, we are family'. 'No matter what, we will always be family' 'Your wicked side is part of you, and even though you kept it a secret I felt him the first time I met you'. 'I did not say anything because I was waiting for you to tell me your self'. He explained. I hugged Larry tightly, thanking him in my head that he still excepts me even knowing about my wicked side.

A thunderous growl, caused Larry and I to pull apart.

'My mate is awake'. I heard Larry say happily.

'Oh, sh*t'. I said walking away from Larry.

I did not want to be to close to Larry when Alpha Laurent came into the room.

'Why are you on the other side of the room'? Larry asked me, looking confused. I laughed and shook my head at him when he told to come closer.

You may be wondering why I walked to the other side of the room. Well it's because an Alpha is easily possessive and jealous. Yes I know Laurent allows Larry and I to hang out, and we even hug on occasions. But Laurent has been unconscious for a week and no one knows exactly what the side effects of the syphon would or has done. I'm not sure if a just woken up Laurent would see me as a friend or foe if he came barging in the room while I was hugging his mate.

Another pack shaking growl brought me out of my thoughts.

That growl sounds hurt and angry.

'Something is wrong'. I heard Larry whisper. I nodded my head agreeing with him. Something is definitely not right.

'Jackson let's go'. I heard Larry say and before I had a chance to remind him he still to be properly checked out by the pack doctor, Larry was already out of the room. I quickly ran after him and just like deja vu, the scene in front of me was the exact same scene Egon and I walked in on the day we came back to look for Laurent.

'What the HELL is going on here'? I heard Larry growl out, shaking the packhouse and stopping the two Alpha's from continuing their fighting.

Gasps were heard throughout the living room.

"Mate". I heard someone say from the distance and watched as a smile grew across Larry's face happily.

'Larry'? I called out to him, but he didn't turn towards me or answer me.

I watched as the sea of visiting Alpha's, Beta's and other supernatural creatures separate as Laurent walked closer to Larry.

"My love". I heard Laurent say, wrapping his arms around Larry happily. I stared as Laurent's eyes as they began to sparkle with joy and love.

'I missed you'. I heard Larry say, wrapping his arms around Laurent.

'You called him your mate'. 'He cannot be your mate, he is a man'. Someone said from the crowd of supernatural creatures.

'I am his mate'. I heard Larry say proudly.

"This is MY pack". "I do not care if my pack members have a mate that is the same s*x". Laurent said.

"It is the Moon Goddess that gives us our mate's"."She does not make mistakes". I heard Laurent say.

'He cannot be your mate, because I am'. A wolf said, causing gasps to be heard throughout the room.

I heard both Larry and Laurent laugh, not caring what was just said.

I watched Alpha Diondre and his mate walk towards Laurent and Larry. I wanted to stop them but Larry shook his head no to me.

'It is nice to finally see you again Alpha Laurent'. Alpha Diondre said, completely ignoring Larry's presence pissing me off.

"It is not to be seen". Laurent said, smiling at Larry ignoring them.

'I need to talk to you'. The she-wolf said.

'Why do you need to talk to my mate'? Larry all but yelled out angrily, asking her.

'It is non of your business'. She said. Just like back in the room I watched in slow motion as she dropped to the floor with a loud thud.

'I believe I told you to learn respect'. Larry soat at her.

'Alpha Diondre this is My pack, and I do not appreciate your mate's disrespect'. 'You either teach her respect or kindly remove her and yourself from my pack'. Larry soat walking away from him.

I waited for Laurent's reaction and what I saw shocked me.

"Please pick up your mate and take her to the pack doctor". Laurent said sighed, but continued. "My mate has a temper and does not except disrespect". He finished helping Diondre pick up the she-wolf.

I shook my head disappointed in Laurent.

Maybe it's an after affect. I thought.

I ran up the stairs and found Larry in the room, crying on his bed.

'Jackson, can you help me change these sheets'. He said as soon as I walked into the room. I nodded my head even though he wasn't looking at me.

'Please burn them'. He said, shocking me. I was going to ask why but decided it best not to ask him anything right now.

I may not be a werewolf but even I know that Larry is hurting.

After Larry and I finished remaking the bed, we visited the pup's and ate dinner together before bidding each other goodnight.

I decided to stay in the spare room in the Alpha suite. I have not seen or heard from my beloved since this morning and I feel lonely. Being around Larry and my Godpup's helps with the loneliness.
