Finally

Restless

Larry's POV:

I could feel Beast being restless inside of Laurent's head and I know what has caused his restlessness.

Not only has Blaze not woken up yet, our pups were born a few weeks early but healthy, there are wolves in our cells that he has yet to deal with because I was in a coma that Blaze put me in to heal me and keep our pups safe.

And even though we are safe and healthy both Beast and Laurent have been restless since I woke up.

Hopefully Blaze will wake up soon and can ease sone of their restlessness. Time will only tell.

I stare at my mate and pups happily sleeping. Unfortunately I haven't slept much since I woke up.

I too am a little restless not having Blaze close by but I know he's here. I can feel him, I just can't reach him.

Sighing heavily I stare at my mate and pups once more before quietly slipping out of our room.

I needed to be able to walk around the packhouse without a bodyguard not because I am going to do something stupid like walk outside or down to the cells. No nothing like that I just needed to be able to move around freely without eyes on me.

Besides I have been in a bed for about two weeks and I really need to just stretch my legs.

I'll wait for Laurent to feel more at ease  before heading outside for a walk. Hopefully by then Blaze returned fully recovered.

I made it to the kitchen to get a bottle of water ans sat on the bar stool next to the buffet counter.

'Blaze'. I whispeted in my head hoping he was there but just like all the other times there is no reply. I'm not worried because I can feel him close he's just in a deep slumber.

After finishing my water I decided to head back to our room where my sleeping mate and pups are. But when I reached the room I could hear Laurent trying to put one of our pups back to sleep before the other two wake up.

I smiled as I stood outside our bedroom door listening to my mate softly talk to our pup calming her down. Lilo is the one awake I can tell by her scent and the fact she is always the first one to awake up, waking up her sister and brother.

Still smiling I walked into our room to find my mate happily holding our pup smiling down at her. I sat next to him on the bed watching my pups sleep soundly as Laurent fed our princess.

I felt stirring in my head before I heard Blaze whisper 'Mate' in my head sounding a little groggy still. I smile at the sound of his voice and looked towards Laurent who had an face splitting smile.

His eyes sparkled even more as he realized Blaze has woken up.

After he put Lilo to bed Laurent wrapped me up in his arms smelling my neck.

"Beast wants his mate". He said gruffly against my neck sending shivers and goosebumps up and down my spine and across my skin.

'Blaze wants his mate too'. I whispered out breathlessly.

It has been way to long since we three have felt Blaze and both Laurent and Beast are finally calming down.

"Larry". Laurent whispered. I knew what he wanted to tell me. He has been waiting for Blaze to return so that he can finally deal with the wolves in our cells.

When I first woke up I overhead Luna Sami tell the pack doctor not to tell me why I was in the hospital and what had caused my pups to be born early.

Naturally I became curious of what had happened. The last thing I remembered was Laurent holding me in his arms as my "family" tried to get me to leave with them then all of a sudden a sharp pain in the side of my stomach right under my rib cage.

Darkness soon followed along with muffled voices. I couldn't understand what they were saying alls I felt was the most excruciating pain radiating throughout my body and the ground underneath me shaking violently.

Even after I woke up Laurent's family refused to tell me and without Blaze I couldn't listen in on Laurent's or his family's thoughts. I became frustrated but not angry.

Unfortunately for them they talked to loud near my Luna suite and I heard what Laurent or should I say Beast plans on doing with those twelve wolves for what they had done to me all because I refused to leave with people who swear they are my family.

Laurent can have eleven of the twelve wolves in the cells but I want Max. For someone who is supposed to be my family he stabbed me with a wolfsbane laced pure silver blade. Trying to kill my pups and hoping if I lost them I would return to them.

'Mate has waited a long time'. Blaze said in my head, sounding less groggy. I nodded in my head in agreement. I already knew the reason why Laurent had been restless but now that Blaze is back his aura has changed to a very calm Alpha which is scarier than an angry Alpha.

'Mate is very angry'. Blaze said.

'Yes he is, but he is eerily calm'. I told him making him nod his head at me.

'Mate is scary calm'. He told me.

'Are you scared of mate'? I asked him.

'No'. He said confidently. I smiled at him.

I can hear Laurent's calm heartbeat and I can read his very clear mind. If I was his enemy I would be extremely scared. My experience with Laurent is if he's calm he is dangerous, a dangerously angry. If Laurent has an outbursts he is safe.

'Mate is different'. Blaze said. I nodded in agreement. Laurent truly is different an Alpha that can think before acting is more dangerous than an Alpha that acts without thinking.

"Larry my mate". I heard Laurent say beside me trying to get my attention.

'Yes my love'? I asked him happily.

"You know don't you"? He asked. I just shook my head yes instead of answering him with words. I felt his feelings through our bond and he's a little scared but also nervous. Most likely thinking that I'm upset because he hadn't dealt with those wolves yet.

I stared at him smiling wide at him easing his nervousness.

'Laurent I am not mad'. I told him honestly.

"I will deal with them tomorrow". He said sternly. I nodded but stopped abruptly.

'Keep Max for me'. I told him. He nodded.

"Let's get some sleep". He told me wrapping me in his arms, nuzzling his nose in my neck.

Slept found us both quickly.
