Almost as soon as the two stepped foot into camp, carol ran up to them, "kit, would you mind taking a look at Daryl? He tossed a saddle earlier, and I'm worried he opened his stitches" kit sighed "yeah I'll take a look, thanks carol" carol gave her a quick thankful smile then walked away kit turning to Shane "go baby it's ok I gotta talk to Lori anyway" Shane said kissing her forehead "fine but be nice, pregnant ladies aren't known to be kind" kit sang walking away to get her bag before going to Daryl's tent. When she entered, he looked away, a slight blush on his cheeks too embarrassed to look at her. she kneeled next to him "move your arm, Daryl, I need to check your side," he did so, still not talking or looking at her. His stitches weren't broken but were irritated. she cleaned them and applied numbing cream and clean gauze

"you can't be throwing tantrums when you have stitches," she said, raising an eyebrow and putting the last piece of tape on, expecting some remark. Still, he only peaked at her quickly, looking away again. she furrows her eyebrows before piecing it together, her own cheeks becoming red. "you saw, didn't you?" she whispered, her only answer being another glance.  Her sudden laughter startled him, though, "I am so embarrassed for me and you" she continued laughing, her sides beginning to hurt as she stumbled out of the tent. Daryl was extremely confused, but he was relieved she wasn't mad at him.

~meanwhile, with, Shane and Lori~

" I thought he and kit were dead."

"Shane, I don't."

"then, when kit came back, I have never regretted anything more in my life. You should know. I had to have you turned around so I could pretend it was her. rick told me."

"told you what?" "and I know the reason why you didn't is because you know it could be mine."

"its ricks"

"and it better stay that way. Kit better not even hear a single whisper of a different possibility, or I swear to god you will regret it, Lori." Shane growled. Kits' laughter on the other side of camp snapped him out of his rage. He glared at the woman one last time before going to get the bag of guns, only to find out he now had to find dale, who ran off with them. If he couldn't get rid of the baby situation right now, he could at least get rid of the problem threatening kit's life.

kit walked over to the RV, drinking some water and looking around before turning to the roof "hey, Glenn, you seen Shane?"

"went off to go find dale." she gave him a questioning look, but he only shrugged before sitting back down to watch; he didn't know either.

~time skip~

Kit laid down on a bench next to carl, beth and Patricia as they played a game with her eyes closed. Carol's fingers ran thru her hair, making small braids as a means of distraction. a whistle brought her out of her peaceful tranquility

"kit, where's everyone else?" t-dog asked. She sat up, seeing Andrea and t-dog joining them and Glenn looking at her expectantly.

"ricks out in the woods with Hershel last I saw, and Shane went to find dale wherever that may be, and our glorious foul-mouthed companion is walking up now," kit said, smirking at Daryl; his only response was that of an eye roll.

"what the hell? We were supposed to leave hours ago," Andrea huffed

"yeah, you were. what the hell?" Daryl snarked, looking around "damn, it isn't anybody taking this seriously? we got us a damn trail!" kit stood furrowing her eyebrows, noticing Shane walking up with the bag of guns. Daryl seeing her face spun around, "oh, here we go. what's all this?"

"you with me, man?" Shane asked him instead "yeah," Shane handed him a shotgun before approaching the porch, "time to grow up. baby, you still got yours" "yeah?"
