Warm lips laying soft kisses across her shoulder, whiskers tickling her bare skin as they move, is what brought her out of dreamland, making her groan in protest.

"wake up, kitty-kat," a husky, raspy morning voice breathed on her skin

"don't wanna," she whined, eyes still closed

"gotta if you goin on that run." "nuh-uh," Daryl's arm catching her as she tried to roll away, ultimately groping her as he pulled her back to his chest, his lips moving to her neck, almost inaudible moans leaving her lips "sure bout that?" his now hardened member pressing into her backside "you win" she groans making a slight adjustment so he could slip in, a shiver of hot delight going down their spines as he moved.

Upon heading outside, their first stop was for food; Daryl had brought back a deer yesterday, so kit wasn't surprised to see merle manning the grill seeing as he claimed the women cooking always ruined it. People greeted them as they walked, freaking Daryl out much to kits humor, only to receive a pinch from said man.

"smells good," Daryl grunted, grabbing an already dished up bowl

"as usual," kit added, doing the same

"Of course it does. I made it Kit-Kat," merle says smugly

"ya ever gonna stop with the candy bar nonsense?" taking a bite of meat.

"ya ever gonna stop lookin mighty delicious, given ol' merle dem blue balls."

"it's a good thing you still have a hand then" she gave him a sarcastic smile taking another bite; she could hear Daryl slightly choke next to her, her free hand automatically going to his back.

"oh ha ha, peaches," merle rolls his eyes. Kit looks to Daryl, making sure he's ok but is met with his eyes bouncing between them with pure amusement. He's gotten far too used to their banter; in the beginning, it did worry him, but now he just got a kick out of watching them, and Daryl certainly wasn't the only one many of the original crew did.

"need ta show ya somethin." merle said before turning to a teenage boy that has been trying to learn to cook "pat, take over, will ya?"

"yes, sir?" he said eagerly; kit rolled her eyes at the smug look merle sent her before taking the last bite of meat and setting her bowl down in the wash bin as she passed following.

"Mr. Dixon, I just wanted to thank you for bringing that deer back yesterday. It was a real treat, sir, and I'd be honored to shake your hand." Patrick innocently said to Daryl, who dramatically sucked his fingers, making kit blush watching the action.

"Mrs. Dixon, it is just an honor to meet you. Everything you and the council have done is just spectacular." a wide grin on kits face as she cut merle off before he could talk.

"thank you, Patrick, it's a pleasure to meet you" kit pushed merle forward as she waved bye to the young boy, a blushing Daryl following the two.

"don't you-" kit cut merle off again "oh, we're family now, merle better watch the hell out," a laugh erupting from her throat

"woman, you're so fulla shit your eyes are brown," merle retorted, chuckling himself "naw, today I don't know if we're gonna be able to spare a lot of people for the run."

"that place is good to go. We're gonna move on it." Daryl countered,

"the thing is we had a pretty big build up last night. more towards tower three, almost like last month. too many people here drawn em' out" merle nods over the far courtyard where a vast number of walkers were.

"it's manageable for now as long as we stay ahead of it," kit retorted, sighing before walking away, spotting rick and the boy's kit turned back to Daryl, nodding to where she was going he nodded back in acknowledgment. When kit approached them, the boys were the first to see her.
