Two weeks had passed since they returned home to Alexandria, and Kit was on lockdown in the Infirmary the whole time, being forced to go thru a detox to clear out the drugs. The first few days were the worst to battle the withdrawals, but they slowly improved. Her mind was a different matter, though; the extensive emotional damage done would take a lot longer, maybe even years. She was, however, seriously bummed she couldn't go and check out the satellite that fell and crashed near oceanside with Eugene and his crew. But she knew it was for the best; she was still seeing things sometimes, even when she knew they weren't real.

Rick was walking thru the woods with Negan taking him to the recruitment cabin, not that Negan knew that or why. "You know this place?" Negan asked when they rounded thick, tall bushes, and it came into view.

"Yeah. Spent quite a bit of time here with Kit and Daryl." Rick said, walking inside. Negan stepped in, already knowing what was coming, when he saw the place fixed up and baskets of supplies sitting on the dinner table, Along with all his belongings.

"I see you went ahead and moved me in." Negan sighed, putting his hands on his hips.

"Daryl helped. Kit's being let out today, and she's still not always there. So this is more of an I don't want blood on my hands should she decide she still wants you dead 'cause I won't get in her way next time."

Daryl and Kit sat out back of the infirmary by the acorn tree, trying to knock a can down he had set on the picnic bench. Daryl tossed one and missed it. "So close." kit sighed.

Kit threw one, grazing the side of it. "Damn it." "ooo," they both said.

Daryl's next throw was way off. "Mr. crossbow, I thought aiming was your thing." kit teased and then missed hers as well.

"It's definitely not your thing," he sassed and tossed his next one, hitting it but not knocking it over.

"Sorry doesn't count." She pouted, dismissing it.

"Course that counts." Daryl countered

"No, you have to knock the can over. you can't just tease it." Kit argued

"Oh my god, you're such a sore loser." Daryl raised his arms in disbelief

"I'd have to lose in order to be a sore loser, so since that didn't count, let me take my take turn." Kit dismissed it again as she looked on the ground next to her, trying to find a good one. Daryl scratched his head as he smiled, not even surprised to see her childish attitude surfacing. "Oh, Dar, look it's a double capper," Kit cooed as she picked up the two acorns attached to each other to show him. "their good luck. maybe it'll help your aim." she teased.

"funny." he snarked, taking it from her fingers and stuffing it inside his vest pocket that had her picture. "But I'll keep it; you should watch your own throws, though." He threw another one knocking the can off.

"See Improving already." Kit chuckled, ignoring the playful glare he was sending her.

"Kit labs look good; you can go home," Siddiq said before going back inside to help other people.

"thank god, please take me home." Kit groaned, standing up, but it turned into giggles as Daryl threw her over his shoulder and started home.

"where you going?" Glenn called after kit as she started to walk out of the Alexandria gates.

"I uh, I was gonna go to the field. It's where Jody-" She looked away as tears started to well again.
