Kit clenched her jaw, standing next to Daryl and Maggie, seeing the dried creek bed Sasha was aggressively kicking. Still no water; they couldn't even find anything to hunt lately. It's gotten so bad she saw Daryl eating a worm earlier, and two days before that, they ate a pack of wild dogs. Kit always wanted a dog. Judith was practically full-time breastfed now after kit had already started to ween her off.

She walked back to the road; the three left to follow her. The group was sitting on the ground ahead behind a white van. They've had to switch two vehicles since they left.

"how much longer we got?" she heard Maggie speak up

"60 miles give or take," Sasha answered

"I wasn't talking about that." Maggie sighed

"not much if rick takes any more advice from Michonne," Daryl sighed behind kit. It's been a day and a half since they found anything, even longer since kit wasn't constantly angry. he didn't even agree with the Washington trip yet was getting punished right alongside rick.

the van sputtered to a stop. Kit would laugh at the ridiculousness of it all like everything was telling them not to go. she couldn't even cry angry, frustrated tears right cause she was so dehydrated. and the boys? God, they hardly said anything anymore; the joy they once had almost a month ago was gone.

"we're out, just like the other one." Abraham said,

"so we walk." rick said. Kit scoffed loudly, throwing open the door. "kitten, please," he quietly pleaded, but she ignored him, helping Jody put Judith's carrier on. Then walking off, rick and Daryl following close behind her, everyone else trailing.

"we're not at our strongest; we'll get em' when its best. High ground, something like that. They're not going anywhere." rick said to Daryl; kit figured they were talking about the herd that had been following them since the van broke down hours ago.

"they wouldn't have been an issue if you didn't listen to Michonne. neither would have been food and water." kit snarked

"kitten, I'm trying" she whirled around to face him "trying? have you seen the kids? they're suffering when they could have been safe! you didn't even talk to Daryl or me! I thought we were a team." she stared at him with tears refusing to fall, scoffing when he didn't answer her. she walked off again, Daryl going off to the woods.

kit stood with everyone else by the bridge edge, ready to push the stalking horde over the edge. One by one, they moved and pushed until Sasha had a flash of anger attacking them, making everyone else have to improvise.

"I told you to stop," Michonne hissed at Sasha; kit glared, retracting her blades and moving to stand next to Sasha, interrupting their staredown.

"The fact you think you have any ground to order anyone is pathetic," Kit hissed back, grabbing Sasha's arm and pulling her away, keeping her steely glare as they passed Michonne.

Kit eyed Daryl as he left for the woods again as they approached the group of cars further down.

"kit, stop." kit didn't, trying to ignore her ever-pestering jiminy cricket.

"stop" he pulled her arm, making her face him

"what?"

"you need to pull yourself together."

"gee, great advice," kit scoffed.

"fine. Michonne and Rick made a bad call. but instead of helping straighten the fuck out of things like you usually, do you've turned to a cold little girl throwing tantrums looking like she about to take someone's head off."
